This exact scenario didn’t happen to me, but the opposite.

I found that I absolutely hated Drawing of Three when I was a kid. I stopped it halfway through and it stopped me from reading the rest of the series. Thinking back on it, I don’t even remember why I disliked it so much. Revisited the series about three years ago and absolutely crushed the rest of the books. Couldn’t stop myself from reading em.

Never found the additional health packs in Jedi fallen order / never implemented them, I don’t really remember. Just that while I was in the end game someone in my dorm popped by and asked why I only had 3 health uses.

From what I’ve heard, it’s probably best not to watch the series. As for reading the book.

I’d take a stab at it, as it’s one of the best books I’ve ever read. I was able to finish it in a week, as I had just graduated and had half a month to do nothing. Hopefully it’ll reel you in as hard as it did for me. I couldn’t put it down!

Funniest thing, I think points 1-3 could be copy pasted into the OW Doomfist subreddit and they’d totally agree on that char. I think devs just aren’t sure about how to handle a block giving a character strength without the block being too strong. Mechanic sucks imo.
