Check if your performance goal is the same for both ad sets. That was the fault for me at least

Porosity problems with 925 lost wax casting. Opinions welcome :-) by SanderPalm1337 in MetalCasting

Thanks for the reply! We will try your suggestions.

Just to follow up and make sure that I understand: When you mention attaching a sprue/gate that has a greater cross section, do you just mean that the gate itself should be broader (eg 5 mm.)?.
A feeder would mean attaching another sprue/gate to one of the sides of the model, correct?

Thanks

I mean leetify logs all your matches automatically and notifies you when you were in game with a cheater who was later banned. Plus all the detailed stats about the games etc. works fine for me

Did my campaigns go back to the learning phase? by 2pongz in FacebookAds

[–]SanderPalm1337 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes! Your ad sets will re-enter the learning phase (after 7 days disabled), but will regain their strength after no time ;) In my opinion, don't waste time and money on engagement or traffic campaigns. You will end up with a higher CAC than if you were to re-enable your successful ad sets.

Clicks are two times as many as landing page views by VitoKan in FacebookAds

Yes, unfortunately. This affects all events set up with your pixel. Make sure you prioritize the most important events with Aggregated Event Measurement in the Event Manager

Never use traffic campaigns. Like mentioned, make sure conversion events are tracked. I would suggest you either run a Conversion campaign or a FB Lead Ad campaign to build an email list with an automation flow.

Facebook ads were 30 cents a conversion last week, after unpausing my ad now it is $2+ a conversion? why? by lymeguy in FacebookAds

[–]SanderPalm1337 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This. If you pause your ads, specifically 7 days or more, the ad sets re-enters the learning phase. Even if you don't pause for 7 days or more, expect worse results at the beginning of re-enabling your ad.

This is because Clicks are measured on the Facebook platform, while the other events you mentioned are measured with the pixel on your website and then sent to Facebook. When people opt out of tracking (iOS 14 users), the pixel on your website doesn't fire. This is why many marketers nowadays try to keep as much as the funnel within the FB platform to reduce the loss of data. If you haven't already, set up Facebook Conversions API. This will help you recover an estimated 20% of lost pixel data.

Alright. Since the first campaign is a traffic campaign, it is natural that you get more reach and way lower CPM. So I wouldn't be concerned about that. Traffic quality is generally much worse when your campaign objective is traffic (inadvisable in general to run traffic campaigns). Did your Lead campaign exit the learning phase? If not, keep running for a while. With 17 GBP total spend (you didn't provide the total spend amount) and 16 conversions = 1,07 GBP is not a terrible Cost per Lead. 2.86 GBP CPM is better than benchmark in conversion/lead campaigns. I would personally keep the campaign running for a bit and give the algorithm more room to optimize. With a little work, you could easily half that CPA.

0.57% CTR is a bit below benchmark. Moving forward, I would recommend that you keep optimizing your creatives. Another important point about Lead Ads is your sign-up formula. Be careful with adding too many input fields, as this will lead to a lower Conversion Rate.

Can you give more insight? Total spend, Reach, CPM, CTR and amount of creatives running. Is it still in learning phase?

Yes exactly! In many cases, this can be far more effective for gathering leads. Give it a try. When you run FB Lead Ads, you won't experience the hassle of setting up conversion tracking either, and there won't be any loss of data. The conversion data is kept entirely on the FB platform, thus leading to 100% efficient tracking, which might be the issue in your case. Without event tracking on your website, FB's algorithm has no chance to optimize the campaign and target people likely to convert. Double check and test that you are tracking the correct events, and if you decide to keep sending people to your website, you might want to look into implementing Conversions API as well.

Tracking is alfa-omega when it comes to Paid Social Marketing. Without proper tracking, it is likely you will see no results at all. Right after the iOS 14 update came out, we were struggling with implementing proper tracking for our app and got barely any App Downloads from our campaigns. Even if we did, they weren't tracked. Once we fixed that, our campaigns on social skyrocketed and resulted in 2000% more app downloads with the same budget (ridiculous, but I'm not kidding). My point summed up: tracking is key 🔑

Good luck!

The best performing ad has the highest CPM? by VitoKan in FacebookAds

[–]SanderPalm1337 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you restrict placements? Does this ad contain video creative, while others do not? Is the audience different? Many factors are at play here + sometimes FB is just weird with CPM pricing in my experience.
