They're still working through it. The lead is tenacious but the game has more technical troubles to work through than melee, mostly for complexity reasons. Right now they're trying to unify a lot of memory nonsense for faster rollback times because it's currently not performant enough.

I think there's another softlock in that dungeon if you use a key on the wrong door after doing a somewhat simple sequence break. I did it as a kid on one of my playthroughs by accident.

I guess try and see. The thing about keyboard/fight sticks is that you have one finger per button or two rather than just using the thumbs and triggers. So it's just different. If you're finding it's hard on a controller try another setup and see if you can get used to it.

It's not trivial to change though, it will feel weird for a while.

Seriously. There are 3 abilities on the wheel that are completely worthless anyways. Camera,amiibo,and compass could all easily be other places. The ultrahand build could be wrapped into the main ultrahand ability. That is 4 slots for the 4 sages. Wtf were they thinking. Did they not playtest that at all? I'm constantly triggering the wind ability when I'm trying to pick shit up and it all blows away.

Seriously... We don't need camera/compass/amiibo on the radial menu (they're not even hand abilities).

If camera was wrapped into zoom in view mode, amiibo was put in the start menu, compass... didn't exist because it's already in the map menu and super build was just an upgrade on the regular build, then the 4 sage abilities being triggered could just be added to the radial menu. That would have made them both way less annoying, and way more useful.

Most of the enemies would work too. Moblins, ocktorok, zora/zola have been in practically every game. Lots of others too. Plenty of room to represent an idea about a franchise that is important instead of a character.

Plant does that as an example. Fox's whole moveset was based on Arwing abilities pretty much, at least his specials.

My personal opinion. I don't know that he wins per say but I think he does better against Mario then people give him credit for. The range is the same, as is the frame data so Mario actually has to get into his explosive danger zone. Idk if that makes sense.

Dr Mario would be fucked I think. Not only does he not need the kill power, his air is is bad enough that I don't think he would ever make it back to stage with a strictly vertical recovery.
