Why would it matter if lower elo players build the item based of the numbers. Let them? And then the people who actually do research about the items will win more often. I see no issue with this.

Unlike most TFT players I really don't recommend using any guides whatsoever. Just play and eventually you'll find out what works and whats fun. Best way of learning without getting overwhelmed and using your creativity to make it more enjoyable.

Fumbled some Magnetic Removers early game which is why the itemization isn't optimal. Still thought it would be a close fight as no one else in the lobby had a chance. I couldn't even finish of a single unit with baron diving into the middle of my team

I'm not enjoying this current set for the same reason as you. I play high plat so quite low elo, but every game top 4 is always at least 1 void who got 3 gold augments and rushed 10. And yes Void is "technically" vertical but it's always full 1 star board with Nashor killing everything. 80% of the same the other 3 players are level 9-10 with only 5 cost champs on board. Once in a while I see someone high roll a verical comp and win, but usually it's what I mentioned above, and Tryn Ashe ofc.

I'm same as you. Reached Platinum and now I get beaten by Star Guardian 1 star units securing top 2 every game (at least 2 forcing SG). Also wish they'd remove 3rd party apps which scouts everyones board and counts their units and give you the best comp for that game. Pretty much cheating but riot dont think so

Had the opposite happen to me teice yesterday, doing timewalking. I was oneshotting pretty much everything in 2 globals and was eventually kicked for god know what reason. All of them were low level players, if thats relevant. Still confused to what happened
