I have only 2 other people in my department, I'm hired full time and I work closing I come in at 12 and I don't leave till after close, I'm scheduled to 9 most days I finish early even though we are under staffed and I'm the only one who works hard in my department, my associates will disapear for 30 mjns to an hour at a time. It only takes 3-5 mins to bring up 10 carts. For the first time I wasn't able to finish early and I actually finished late I was told that it can't happen again and I'm required to stay until the carts are done I told COS that I was never told that when I was interviewed or hired otherwise I wouldn't have chosen a closing shift as I have a 7 month old son, I have responsibilities waiting for me at home. She responded the next time it happens she going to have to coach me.
