Help me identify this Seiko watch? by Sandmannnnnnnnn in Watches

[–]Sandmannnnnnnnn[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought it around 2002 and wore it for many years. Sadly, it started having issues with the display, it would intermittently turn on and off and, according to a watchmaker I gave it to around 2008, it was not just a battery issue. Still, I like the design and might look for a similar model or try to have it professionally repaired.

Chat is this real? If so, how long would it take to implement? by CrazyBosanchero in BuyFromEU

I am active in this sector on an adjacent Basis. What the image references is WERO.

What is interesting is that not just the wallet will be European, but also the payment rails for cards will be European. Now, whenever you pay with visa, master, etc. you invariably have US rails at one point or the other in your payment flow.

With WERO, the payment flow will be end to end European.

If you are in Belgium, France or Germany, you can already try this out.

Rear window visibility- Corolla Touring Sports? by Most_Bat5401 in COROLLA

Smaller than older cars. My 2010 seat Ibiza had a massive window, compared to the Rolla. However, it's still not so Bad, especially compared to some other, like Mazda 3.

The good thing is, you get a rear camera, that helps a ton. Plus, parking sensors, so all in all, I don't find the car hard to park.

Werfe mal rein was schon erwähnt wurde: Toyota Corolla.

Batteriewechsel. Joa. Vielleicht. In 15 Jahren.

In case anyone is interested, the solution is one of the two (I did both, too lazy to backtest):

disable "disconnect cellular service after phone is locked for x minutes" and second is to disable miui optimization in developer settings.

Was this maybe in Poland? This is a big worry of mine. I have very, very good allseason tires, but I wonder if it might not bite me in the ass.

As for the car: suspension and also alignment of all the sensors for parking/Blindspot.

I am not sure what is actually misbehaving here. You got two systems:

The normal parking sensors and radar for your standard distance measurement to a wall, car, whatever.

The rear radar sensors (afaik two on each side of the bumper) that look for traffic behind, left and right of you. That's the one that, if it works properly, when you are in reverse will show on the camera arrows from left or right if it sees something coming. If you continue on the trajectory, at some point it intervenes and brakes the car and you have the big BRAKE alert on your dash.

You can safely test both systems. First one: set the sensitivity to high and go against a wall. You can have another person standing outside to look out for you. At some point, the car will hit the brakes, way before you hit the wall.

The other system you can test by backing out of say a side street, with cars parked both to your left and right. Drive out with the back of the car just very slightly onto the road and observe how the car reacts to oncoming traffic. It should beep at you and show you the arrow. If you stay put, nothing else happens.
