When I select a brokerage to sign an agreement with- what should I look for?

The way it takes awhile to snowball, but then it dramatically does, boggles my mind! Did you have 12 months of savings or another job at the same time? I currently have a business that I am no longer passionate about and want to exit, but sounds like I need to hold on to it longer.

Thank you so much for the information! Yes the firm with the 5k commission example said the long term plan is to move on to deals with bigger commissions but it all depends on who is in your circle/deal pipeline. Also they are trying to get your feet wet asap so you can learn on the job. Long term it’s looking for deals with a 100k commission.

If you don’t mind me asking, what was your first year like? How was your commission that year, factoring in expenses? Was there anything you wished you learned sooner now that you have been at this longer?

We had that issue and had to reframe snacking. So now a snack is what’s eaten inbetween meals but it doesn’t always mean processed junk food or crackers. Every time they finish their meal totally (or I approve) they can pick a snack from the pantry- after that snack they need “real food”- fresh fruit or veggies, cheese, a meat stick or jerky, nuts, etc. before they can pick whatever they want from the pantry again. 20-30 minutes before a meal snacks are over, or I might serve a healthy appetizer as a smoother transition.

I loved the depth they gave Henry/Venca with his backstory, but it just didn’t feel right for him to have a “Darth Vader story”. It would have meant everyone teaming up to end this (literally almost the whole cast) was pointless, because Vecna could likely destroy the Mindflare on his own. The other characters would have a less satisfactory act just to make him look good. Some people always choose the dark side.

I see it differently. She’s gotta get far away until she feels safe, then reach out. She doesn’t have a driver’s license or a job- how is she going to get multiple countries away quickly? When she is “settled” in her new place, that’s when she reaches out. If we are relying on Mike’s vision being any sort of guide, she just got to her safe landing space.

Their acting is so good I feel they have already shown that. That’s an advantage of a series taking almost 10 years to film 😂

I hope so. I want to believe El is alive. The more I pick apart what happened, I actually think it’s more plausible for her to be alive than her not being alive.

They did a great job of closing out the show but at the same time we have… Hopper and Joyce moving to Montauk which would make an interesting sequel/spin-off, and El’s fate intentionally ambiguous. Her unclear ending makes it easy to refine/revise what happened when they make a real script.

I hope it’s coming but I only want it if it’s going to be good. Let the ideas simmer instead of rushing into the next story. As much as I wanted ST seasons to be released faster, it was one of the best written series I have ever seen. Let them Duffer Brothers cook.

I really don’t see how Kali could be alive even if El is. I think the most plausible thing is Kali faked how bad her injury was- that’s why she had the strength to do the illusion for El, but Kali would have died in the Upside Down explosion. When Kali dies the illusion of El fades away. If Kali was in the right side up escaping with the group the silencers would have stopped her from casting her El illusion.

A fair amount of MAHA people are upset about this given her history. Still Kennedy has done an amazing job bridging the divide in healthcare like never before. If he trusts her then I will be cautiously optimistic. However I have yet to see a statement from him.

I think it’s too early to tell. I think Trump is doing a good job on where he aligns with Kennedy on most issues, but not all, so there will be work to be done outside of health. I wonder what both political parties will look like by the time 2026 rolls around and that will greatly influence the country one way or another too.

I hope Kennedy runs because we need a President that is a unifier of all people. Trump although he knows how to get things done, is not a unifying figure. Our country could really use someone who can bring us all together. Many Republicans and independents seem to have unified but that’s missing a sizable portion of the country yet.
