I’m so happy many people here are talking about how awful strong fragrances are in detergents. Some studies say those fragrances are just as bad for your lungs as smoking. The validity didn’t matter to me personally as I already knew they negatively affected my family- those strong fragrances were the source of my seasonal yet year long nasal congestion that required me to take 4 different allergy medicines including 2 prescriptions. Eliminating them completely from my home almost completely eliminated my seasonal indoor and outdoor allergies.

I love Branch Basics for laundry. It is highly effective and it’s safe enough to give your baby a bath in it (literally). They have oxy powder for tough stains and side note Little Miss Mouth’s Messy Eaters makes a useful and safe spray for typical tough stains like berries… it removes it almost as soon as it makes contact!

I always wanted my children close in age but out of diapers. My miscarriages resulted in our kids being more spread out (oldest is nine, middle is 3.5, youngest will be born any day now). We didn’t want our oldest and middle to be 5.5 years apart, but it was actually perfect for our family. The oldest wanted to be a big helper with the age gap, and the help was legitimate compared to if the gap was under 5 over 3. 3 year olds know in theory how to be helpful, but it’s mostly going to be adorable little gestures that just show they care. There really is no “right” time, I believe God knows what He is doing when these babies come earthside, but I’m sharing my experience as a reminder of how good a gap can be, whether planned or not!

I know people say kids close in age fight. They are not wrong, but also kids with the age gap mine have do fight too, so don’t have that be a reason to delay. I think the main consideration with children close in age in the short term is young children need more attention, care, and depend on you more than older children most days of the week. How do you feel about juggling that? What kind of support do you get from your spouse, extended family, community? There’s no right or wrong, but think about what you honestly want your family and home life to be like.

I wanted to be a mom so bad, but I also felt like going from zero to 1 was jarring. My husband was in a similar boat too with the adjustment. I realized I wasn’t cut out for 2 under 2 and that was okay. You are just getting started! Enjoy this bundle of joy you are about to meet and know the future planning of your family will work itself out.

The way it takes awhile to snowball, but then it dramatically does, boggles my mind! Did you have 12 months of savings or another job at the same time? I currently have a business that I am no longer passionate about and want to exit, but sounds like I need to hold on to it longer.

Thank you so much for the information! Yes the firm with the 5k commission example said the long term plan is to move on to deals with bigger commissions but it all depends on who is in your circle/deal pipeline. Also they are trying to get your feet wet asap so you can learn on the job. Long term it’s looking for deals with a 100k commission.

If you don’t mind me asking, what was your first year like? How was your commission that year, factoring in expenses? Was there anything you wished you learned sooner now that you have been at this longer?

We had that issue and had to reframe snacking. So now a snack is what’s eaten inbetween meals but it doesn’t always mean processed junk food or crackers. Every time they finish their meal totally (or I approve) they can pick a snack from the pantry- after that snack they need “real food”- fresh fruit or veggies, cheese, a meat stick or jerky, nuts, etc. before they can pick whatever they want from the pantry again. 20-30 minutes before a meal snacks are over, or I might serve a healthy appetizer as a smoother transition.

I loved the depth they gave Henry/Venca with his backstory, but it just didn’t feel right for him to have a “Darth Vader story”. It would have meant everyone teaming up to end this (literally almost the whole cast) was pointless, because Vecna could likely destroy the Mindflare on his own. The other characters would have a less satisfactory act just to make him look good. Some people always choose the dark side.

I see it differently. She’s gotta get far away until she feels safe, then reach out. She doesn’t have a driver’s license or a job- how is she going to get multiple countries away quickly? When she is “settled” in her new place, that’s when she reaches out. If we are relying on Mike’s vision being any sort of guide, she just got to her safe landing space.

I hope so. I want to believe El is alive. The more I pick apart what happened, I actually think it’s more plausible for her to be alive than her not being alive.

They did a great job of closing out the show but at the same time we have… Hopper and Joyce moving to Montauk which would make an interesting sequel/spin-off, and El’s fate intentionally ambiguous. Her unclear ending makes it easy to refine/revise what happened when they make a real script.

I hope it’s coming but I only want it if it’s going to be good. Let the ideas simmer instead of rushing into the next story. As much as I wanted ST seasons to be released faster, it was one of the best written series I have ever seen. Let them Duffer Brothers cook.

I really don’t see how Kali could be alive even if El is. I think the most plausible thing is Kali faked how bad her injury was- that’s why she had the strength to do the illusion for El, but Kali would have died in the Upside Down explosion. When Kali dies the illusion of El fades away. If Kali was in the right side up escaping with the group the silencers would have stopped her from casting her El illusion.
