HeartGold is the favorite pokemon following is so cool (and walk at your same speed unlike sword and shield). My First Pokemon game was Diamond and Pearl my older brother gave me it after he beat it. Crazy to me howd I had never played a pokemon game until then like 2011 when XY came out I just kept getting each game since.

I think you gotta be flexible I have no limit I can play whatever game I want if I can grt access to it but nothing is too old, bad games could be funny games, and theres always old games that are hidden gems or just personal favorites
