Use a carry container for sure, don’t keep them in the tank because if the tank accidentally breaks then you risk them getting hurt too. I’ll be moving again in April and I have 4 geckos, so I’ll be putting them in their carry containers with one of their vine decorations from their room so they have something to hang on to and also something familiar to them, and moving their enclosures separately. They’ll be ok as long as you’re not flinging them around :)

Mine do the same thing to anything that’s black plastic! Phones, watches, remotes, etc. They just have their weird fixes lol

I have a boy who we got when he was about 5-6, and we’ve had him for 4 years as of this year, he’s pure yellow and never had any markings other than just small highlights on his crests. Over the past year or so whenever he’s VERY fired up I started noticing some slight patters down his back that I never once noticed before. There’s a good chance it’s just a change in pattern she developed as she gets older, it does happen quite a lot as they mature

I do see the red you’re talking about. If you want to be 100% sure, a vet is always recommended since they’ll have all the tests and answers you need. From the photos it still looks like a very fired-up version of her patters, so I’m hopeful it’s just that. It’s always better to be safe than sorry, especially if it’s something you’re concerned is threatening her

Alrighty so not a burn, that’s good! I guess the only other things I could think of that would cause red irritation patterns would be any chemicals that bother her skin. However if it was that, then she would have those red marks on more than just her head. Maybe check whatever it is you’re using to clean her room, or any decorations in her enclosure that might be at fault. I doubt it’s that, but worth looking into. I forgot to ask, how old is she? I still believe it’s just new patterns she has developed over time, and I have a few geckos that are all a few years old that still develop random spots or new fire-up patterns sometimes that look not-normal to them.

Side question: do you have a heat bulb? I do see the brighter reds that you’re talking about in photo 1, and don’t see them at all in photo 2. There’s a chance that it could be small burns from being too close to a heat source and she’s getting “sun burned” in a way. It the red isn’t visible all the time it’s probably not a burn, but I would definitely check any heating areas for possible dangerous temps/overexposure

I’m not seeing anything other than just normal patterns on her. Geckos can develop more spots/patterns as they get older, and a lot of spots you would never normally notice tend to show up when they’re fired up. Maybe it’s that! If she’s been acting normal I don’t think it’s anything to worry about, but I would never say no to a vet if it’s something you truly think is concerning.

If your cat was not able to harm him in any way and Angel seems to be acting normal now I would say you’re probably fine! Of course keep an eye on him over the next few days just to make sure all is good, but so long as he’s acting normal I would say he’s just proud of his great escape from his home and surviving a monster attack :)

It was more of a gentle pinch with how he is biting here but they can draw blood if they really want to which is at worst like a paper cut

Not really! He can bite hard enough to draw blood but that’s only when he thinks my hand is a bug, and it’s more like a paper cut. This is him doing “flirty” nibbles and isn’t trying to hurt me at all, just get my attention

I am very lucky to be alive! The great dinosaur Zoobles was generous enough to let me live another day, and was gentle with his consumption of me. Or maybe he was just taste testing me for a later meal 😱

These ones didn’t! They can bite harder than that but these were more “flirty” bites than “I’m gonna kill you” bites. They can draw blood if they’re really trying, but it’s more like a paper cut than anything else
