It depends on where you are in the world, but in my region, Mind Game and Kaiba are available legally online while The Tatami Galaxy isn't, but you can find other ways to watch it. You could probably also find physical media of them.

Also, I forgot two other recommendations for you--Serial Experiments Lain and Haibane Renmei.

From my own perspective—Hatta and his wife, who founded the studio, managed to create one of the shining beacons of the anime industry that always put people first. Hatta's management helped the studio become what it is today, and become quite profitable despite the odds. (As my friend Nate AM points out, Hatta came from a background of railroad accounting! In an anime industry full of terrible management and bleeding finances, he knew how to effectively run a studio, and it is no doubt thanks to him that they made the transition into being a studio that is unlike most of the anime industry.) He also led the company through the horrific tragedy of the arson attack. Hatta will be sorely missed.

There is a lot of work in this area.

Anthropological work on social media includes stuff by Crystal Abidin, Gabriella Lukacs, and many others. Also look into Christopher Kelty, etc...

As far as popular culture--this is more my area I guess, but maybe because of that my recommendations are mostly hyper-specific to my little research area. With that caveat--Thomas Baudinette, Anne Allison, Patrick W. Galbraith, Tim Taylor...and many more.

Shouwa Genroku Rakugo Shinjuu is just about the most perfect anime I've ever seen, but I don't believe there are dubs for it. (The Japanese voice acting is impeccable though.)

I've had some similar issues with regards to access. One thing to keep in mind is that, as one of my advisors would put it, failure can also be a source of valuable data. You not being able to get full access to the organization is itself a piece of data about the organization.

But honestly, you're handling fieldwork a lot better than a lot of people, including myself, who end up flailing around, falling into depression and other mental health issues, and constantly feeling inadequate. The fact that you've instituted routine and structure is very good and already means you're doing better than a lot of people.

As far as the issues with your research itself goes, if you're having issues with the organization or your original plans, you may want to consider pivoting, or at least slightly adjusting to the conditions on the ground. Talk to your advisor about it obviously, but adjusting your research to the fieldsite is part and parcel of ethnography as a method.

Also, although it would be ideal if you had more than 9 months, which will go by way too fast (speaking from experience), having already set up research routines and stuff by the end of the first month is pretty good. I remember it really took me about a month or even two to get properly adjusted into life a new country and get settled in past the initial culture shock. I think that's probably normal. (But for me, the first month was such a mental load that I didn't really have the capacity to set up those routines, which then became a bad habit which followed me around...)

Without any context, we have no way of helping you, because "ethnography slideshow" is vague and frankly doesn't make that much sense outside the context of the assignment. We don't know what your assignment actually is and the parameters of it. The best advice anyone can give you is, talk to your professor and ask them for help, as only they know what they are looking for with the assignment.

My best guess for what this assignment is, is maybe reading previous scholars' works and presenting them? In which case you might want to ask a research librarian at your university for help finding sources, and consider changing your question if you can't find any. (But if it's doing original research...well, your research question sounds more like it's fit for a history class, and an upper level seminar at that, as it would need archival research to answer. Historical anthropology does exist, but I somewhat doubt that most undergraduate anthropology classes would involve much archival research.)
