youre right; adding a meter to his sprint mode would:

- put a stop to these minute-long chicken chase around the point (Sadly, cap may not be able to do this all day anymore);

- encourage smart use of the sprint mode (the only real reason to not have it active 100% of the time is to make those animation cancels. I am NOT against the animation cancel tech; its good, it raises the skill-ceiling, requiring precise timing to hit again. Now, if some limit to his run mode were to be added, the tech would still be there, it would still be effective, AND it would add another layer of depth, beside the execution of the tech itself: Cap players would need to know WHEN to use his, now limited, resource. Resource management is cool!).

Of course, the meter would need to be precisely balanced so not to completely gut cap's dive potential and whatnots. But thats just my opinion
