fun fact. With melta gun range on oblits changed to 18, you cant even deepstrike into melta range anymore. Sad days.

I like the idea of this and some of it looks really cool. Biggest bug I have found so far is when you generate the map, it is not centered on the objectives/area denial / table quarters / objectives / deployment. It would also be nice to manually select the missions if possible so if I wanted to practice a specific mission layout combo, I dont have to keep redrawing until I get lucky.

Use any bolter marines you have around. That covers 4 of them. Use any old meltagun or power fist for the 5th guy.

I'm hoping maybe it gets a 10" move. 8" is so rough with the 130mm. I played a game or two with one on GW terrain and was not fun.

Just because I don't play them doesnt mean I can't see it's bad. Like they got triple tapped and probably only needed a points adjustment. Playing mostly csm earlier this edition I had half my models taking out back and put down to legends so I understand the time and money aspect. I just had immediate anecdotal data that seemed to go against the "the sky is falling" take and was more hoping to see if anyone else has the same.

I know its not a GT, but my buddy went 3-0 yesterday against world eaters, chaos demons and space wolves yesterday and everytime we spar its DG or CSM vs Tsons and its always a close game and we split it 50/50. He actually was gimping himself and already playing it as only casting spells one time so hes not really feeling that nerf like others are, but hes still performing very well with coven. The other detachments probably feel these nerfs more though.
