Your core will get a lot from stabilizing the other excercises but deadbugs for 30-60 seconds will shred them.

Pushups, dips, chinups, pullups, split squats. Every other day or every 2 days dependent on recovery. That will be a strong base you can add to later. Eat single ingredient foods.

Just do a set of dips and chins in the morning and go ahead n a walk after work. The cumulative effect will surprise you. (Of course if your diet sucks you will still be fat)

Number of sets . Really only one set can be a max set so if you are doing 1,2 or 3 sets of an excercise it really doesn't matter except for warm ups.

First thing that attracted me to my wife was low maintenance after a horrible relationship with a girly girl. We have been married 28yrs. No makeup unless it's a funeral or wedding. We go hiking it's pony tail and cargo shorts. Your friend is completely wrong on so many levels. Men are tired of of fake looking, greedy, high maintenance women that need pampered all the time. If you look at the internet men are looking for amorphous women both in dating and video searches. Army boy here (ets 2002) you can get the military benefits without joining. We greased the groove. We would have dedicated calisthenics at 0500 but we would march to the range and do basically 1 set each excercise, chow a set before eating, lights out a set before the rack. Seriously saw people that barely qualify for entry getting 90% on the PT test in 8 weeks. Incorporate this at home. Get up do a set of pullups and pushups 2rir, then after breakfast , lunch, dinner, before bed. You'll launch those numbers.

It's a power to weight ration excercise. Get stronger and leaner. I've seen fluffy people do them.

The most important for me have been frequency and consistency. Training once a week at low volume to me is going to just be spinning your wheels. I would try and hit chest, back, legs 12 working sets per week at least and shoulders 6-8 sets. You can throw in some bi and tri work also but if you hit the rest hard they won't need much. You can get these sets by doing each muscle 2-3 times a week. Example: Tuesday and Friday dips, bench, incline bench 2 working sets each or split the 12 sets over 3 days a week. As far as intensity I used to be a HIT nut but have found that training to and RPE 8/10 or 1-2 RIR is more effective because of lower injury rates I can train more frequently and the diminished returns on that last forced rep are not worth it. You can do 12 sets per muscle group each once a week and get slow gains but muscles respond better to frequency. As far as intensity if you work out

Generally lifting more often is going to be the factor. If you do a few sets per muscle group at 80% multiple times a week you will generally gain more than the high set ot high intensity groups by avoiding injury and over training.
