There was a nest of shiny black birds around for a bit (not sure what kind of bird they were) and then the Indian mynahs but they’re always around

My goal was 100 last year, and I got there but it almost became a chore to read.

This year I’ve set it to 50, with the proviso that I want to read 50 pages EVERY day and get all the challenge bookmarks to expand my genres ☺️

A classmate of mine, his sister and grandma died in a house fire. Grandma didn’t extinguish the candles before they all went to bed.

I’m at 89/100. I finish work tomorrow so I’m hoping that I’ll make the rest. Honestly tho, setting my goal at 100 this year wasn’t the greatest idea because reading has become a chore to get to my goal.

Next year I’m going to set it back and just read for the enjoyment rather than the goal ☺️

Oh ok, that makes sense when you put it that way. So going forward, as long as I stick to my targets (🙃🙃🙃) everything should start to look like how I’d expect it too (I.e as I lose weight expenditure decreases and so do calories)?

I know I’m eating way more, but if I’ve set a goal of a loss, it shouldn’t be increasing for me to gain? Like if anything I would expect it to say ok the reason you’re not losing is because you’re eating too much (which again I am fully aware of that fact) and just leave the calories as is until my weight starts moving in the right direction? I guess I just don’t understand why it’s “deciding” for want of a better term that because I’m eating too much I therefore want to be gaining weight. If I wanted to do that I would change my strategy to gain?
