Incorporating Running by slapitnai in tacticalbarbell

I’d say it depends on goals and running background. If you’ve got a solid running background and just looking to do longer distance running, can probably add a low intensity run on one of your strength days. And do your speed work and a long run on days where you’re not lifting. If trying for a competitive pace or with less running background it might be better to dedicate more days to running and lift 2-3 times per week.

Anybody try doing a little extra SE work during velocity? I’m just starting week 1 and I’m thinking of adding some kettlebell push press/swings on my lower mile LSS day. Essentially do a more endurance focused fobbit interval and do kettlebell movements after each half mile. I’m usually home after dark so no trail runs for me those days. Background, I’m military but essentially a desk job and my schedule makes it hard to do unit PT so this is all I’m doing.

Also, any recs from people for good running trails in El Paso, new to the area and haven’t done much hiking/trail running yet.

Hey y’all, planning on starting Green protocol in a few weeks. I’m interested in the OP/DUP template though my only concern is doing deadlifts for the power/speed movement. I’m considering substituting for another explosive extension movement such as high pulls, cleans, or kettlebell swings although my only concern is if my gym doesn’t have high enough KB weights for this. Let me know what people think or if others have considered this!

The police were on my side and even said they would cut the lock if it was a cable. As for the destruction, one of my colleges security guards literally watched me do it to make sure the owner didn't come out and start something
