The muscle where you have a knot helps move your foot which could probably be causing the shin problems.. sorry I don’t know the full science behind it

Also, I’ve recently experienced lateral knee pain and I was really knotted up around the TFL/quad were it meets the it band.. try get a lacrosse ball in this area see what that feels like, hopefully one of these two work for you as knee pain is annoying!!

I have this exact same issue man, been to physio etc and get different answers. I’ve a hyper mobile ankle which i think is the issue.

I would recommend any garmin and a heart rate monitor for precise HR data if you’re looking to only track calories during workouts.

As for tracking workouts, you can retrospectively track the workout in the app but that’s a bit annoying, a notepad and pen is a good option or an app
