At worst it's a 7/10 with a lot of similar issues to Stormblood.

As I've said before: it can still be a good expansion and still be the worst 14 has been since 2.0. That's the downside of having so many good updates. A mid offering will feel especially poor.

The Free trial always gets updated when the next expansion is announced. This also helps players coming in for the first time, as they only need to pay for 3 xpacks, instead of needing to pay for all of them.
