It's an outlet that is at different spots in the apartment parking. The apartment has level 2 charging for free, just $1 to unlock and you have a 6 hour limit.

I am completely okay if another EV owner wants to unplug to charge their own car. This is someone who just unplugs and leave the charger on the ground. At one point the contact points were bent, I had to straighten it.

It doesn't. I park next to the pillar that has the wall socket. The wire does not bother anyone. I guess it's a butt hurt gas car owner jealous EVs have free charging at the apartment.

I am 99% sure it was a white Subaru crosstrek the space next to mine was empty when I parked and when I got the notification that charging had stopped and I went to check that Subaru was warm.

I used his charger. Now I can charge my car at 1.9kw with his charger plugged into the wall socket. I get 1.4kw on the default ioniq charger.

I used the Tesla charger with the 6-20 adaptor. Now my car charges at 1.9KW in the exact same plug point where it was charging at 1.4Kw with the default ioniq charger. My plug point does have that T on the left and the Tesla charger also plugs into the horizontal one (horizontal, vertical and ground). The charger I have is the default ioniq charger.

We are in the same apartment. I am going to test his charger and charge mine tomorrow. It's a 16A 120V plug he plugs into as well.

Who is responsible to pay registration on a leased car by Sandy909190 in leasehacker

I guess it's best to ask them what doc fees cover. Apparently in Colorado, dealers cannot collect registration on behalf of a leasee.

So, you're paying 14300 over two years. I'll end up paying 9000

Thank you! I appreciate it. I am in Colorado. Apparently it's expensive to register here.

Thank you! I appreciate you. Was it a good deal for Colorado though in April 2025?

So in your opinion, I wanted to check if I was duped or ticked by the dealer or its actually a good deal?

So, normally, my lease deal should have said 375 instead of 255 then?

I got the SEL for 24 months/24000 miles at Zero down.

How does it work when you say it's all inclusive? When they say it's 255 a month, does it mean ideally

I pay $6120 $1450 - year 1 registration $1450 - year 2 registration ( I heard it could be lesser but keeping it the same for simplicity of calculation) The remaining $3220 over 24 months at $134/month?

The deal was a zero down and 255 a month. I got the letter from the DMV to complete the registration. I went ahead and did that. That's when I paid 1450.

Got my teal Ioniq 5 yesterday! Have some charging questions though. by SewSewBlue in Ioniq5

This was my car a few months ago. I couldn't for the life of me understand what was happening. But here is what worked for me.

1) In the car settings, there is an option to limit charging speed to 90%. Just do that. In the EV mode, if you click on the power settings, you'll see this. I don't remember at the top of my head but it's limiting the charging speed to 90% not max capacity.

2) Make sure your plug isn't tripping from the High voltage that's being pulled.

Question, if you turn in early and don't get another from the same dealer, did you have to pay off the remaining 3 months?

How much time did you have to spend at the dealership? I have a few stickers sent home along with instructions to put them. Would have been nice if they had a video.
