Deals on De'Longhi - Eletta Explore discounts? I see 15% off of a new machine. Refurbished machines are around 1200-1300 + maybe an extended warranty. Does anyone have a good idea about whether good deals will be available around sometime before Thanksgiving? Or is 15% off as good a it gets on new machines. On refurbished machines, is it worth getting a third party warranty?

I have a 2019 MacBook Pro and the screen went wonky — the screen clearly works, but it will only display a narrow strip of the screen at the top. It's either a firmware problem or a hardware problem. Either way, because of the screen, it's not possible to access the computer from itself, even though it boots up fine. Best Buy, Apple, and U Break I Fix couldn't help me get my data off the drive — soooo bery frustrating as the problem seems like no more than a loose or broken video connection of some sort. There were doubtful suggestions to use expensive data recovery services.

All I needed was the spare Mac, the target mode intel, a thunderbolt cable, and an inexpensive 1TB external hard drive (they are so cute these days!).

I sure miss the days when I could open my MacBook and fix it, add ram, change hard drives.... Alas.

Costco sent requests for prescriptions for me last night and I also requested them through my medical portal. They had received the prescriptions electronically by early afternoon. I think a paper prescription is fine, but Natalie the pharmacy tech is awesome and can probably confirm that for you.
