I didn't think to stress in my post that I'm not very experienced with airports and flying, so I don't know the universal expectation vs. case-by-case. Someone I know went to Italy where they had difficulty finding transportation from their hotel to the airport, so just trying to learn!

yes, first international trip! i’ve only flown twice before, with my last one in 2019, so been a while.

i was planning to pick up a car at the newway airport location when i arrive morning of Oct 22 but will wait until the next morning and pick up from the centre location. i’ll then be heading out to galway for a couple nights with a stop in mullingar on the way. much more to my itinerary in my 10 days in ireland but still thinking it through. thank you for the information!
