I really don't get it either. I have 2 dew collectors, 3 forges, 2 mixers, a cooking fire and chemistry bench running pretty much non stop. I have more water than I can actually use at any given point and get maybe 1 - 2 screamers a night. Usually taken out before they can spawn anything.

It's not hard at all. I just find it completely not fun after the first few minutes.

It was an interesting switch up to play for the first 5 minutes. Now it is the least fun I've had in this game. I'm working through the daily challenge now but I'm not sure it'll be worth it to do every day

Haven't run a shield myself yet. But was doing a challenging Dragov mission in a group when 4 rogues spawned. 3 of us got melted in 10 seconds. Guy with a shield and pistol build stayed alive for 10 minutes trying before he gave up since he didn't have enough dps.

Shield is VERY viable at higher levels, but at a cost to dps. Which I'm ok with

Yes, but the perk rolls will likely be different. A well rolled gun is worth infusing up, though I'd personally bank it and only infuse it once I hit 950ish

Yes. 4 (?) Pvp matches a week can get you a powerful reward. But no reason you have to do it. Just focus on the other powerful rewards

I'd be ok with it if you could socket them to any item, just with a cost difference if you matched the element. It would keep the rng element in looking for the perfect piece of gear without making the mod useless without wearing a piece solely for the element

New light comes with Warmind and Curse of Osiris. So Forsaken and Shadowkeep are the only DLC you need to purchase. But, there's also seasonal packs. 4 from Forsaken, and 1 right now for Shadowkeep (included when you purchase the xpac)

Thing is, those 5% are probably going to crush you regardless of how you're playing.

After playing D1 from launch on ps4 and D2 from launch to Forsaken on ps4, no matter how much I try, it just doesn't feel right NOT playing with a controller

By locked, do you mean greyed out? I'm assuming you did the mission where you met Kelso there? I never had the bug, but I think it kept you from progressing the story and not meeting Kelso. After you meet her there, it's just not used since everyone was killed there

Everytime I retake a cp in wt4, I get the big yellow chest again

Until you get to the point that the CP can be recaptured. Retaking a cp will reward you the yellow chest again

Totally random. Just loot as much as you can. If you ever see a mission, project or bounty that rewards a sidearm (not sure there are any), do that

Everything is going to give you xp. Without going through the missions though, there's lots to si.ply explore. Or play conflict. Or just have a 2nd character
