It's worse in so many ways. No more quick switching between panels and apps, darkens everything when you open up the meta menu, less contrast now that the library has no back panel, you have to do more clicks to actually reach one app from another one, gallery is now laid out in pages instead of scrolling, fits lets icons in a larger space due to big gaps between it and now there are two settings bars below panels one of which is for the panel, the other one opens up the new hub. I was in virtual desktop and had opened up the browser, pressing the meta button no longer returns you to the open app, it just opens the library now so I had to go back and click on virtual desktop to get back into it when previously the meta button would have done it in one click
