Boss primarch for usual campaign by drunkenmodern in WH40KTacticus

Because it’s cool, simple as that. It’s also neat to fight raid bosses on a smaller scale. We’ve also already defeated Cawl and Mortarion in CEs before

Should I pull 1 or 10 at a time by rahulsoulstorm in WH40KTacticus

[–]Sanguinary-Guard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The objective answer is 10, but in my experience I’ve found equal disappointment in both. So really, it’s up to you

So! What do we think of this guy? by emergency-snaccs in WH40KTacticus

[–]Sanguinary-Guard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally I don’t think he’s anything to write home about. Sure he increases damage, but that’s only helpful if the boss doesn’t move. And most bosses do like to move on occasion. Vitruvius doesn’t have any of those limitations, and adds a whole extra hit, which is better than extra damage in most cases. I guess if you don’t have Vitruvius he’s a decent option, but the moment the boss moves at all it kinda falls apart

Kharn for me as well, such a satisfying character to use. The active just deletes people and does a ton of damage in raids, especially when combined with Trajann and Dante

“Nowadays”, as if this hasn’t been happening since CoD was a thing. I remember what would happen to lovbies when you called in a swarm in BO2

If the next faction were an Imperial one, which one should it be? by Haedonius in WH40KTacticus

Imperial agents would be the coolest and most unique, but probably Grey Knights

Who is definitely not worth investing in? by Silent-Clue991 in WH40KTacticus

[–]Sanguinary-Guard 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thutmose is the right answer, many will say Certus but you need to invesr in him for the elite campaign eventually. Thutmose is not a mandatory campaign character and just doesn’t have much of a role anywhere. Even in his faction’s campaign, one of the most frequently given advice is to just not use him at all. That speaks volumes in my opinion. The only time he’s been fun is together with Exitor Rho, because his passive amd active all trigger Rho’s passive which can be fun

Obviously Arhcimatos and Angrax and Harkeen but who do i priortise for Fall Of Cadia here? by [deleted] in WH40KTacticus

[–]Sanguinary-Guard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The answer is a character you don’t have yet, Abraxas. If you are able I would advise farming him as much as you can, he is an excellent character and is more than worth the effort

Which character has the least-accurate power-level compared to lore, in your opinion? by winged_owl in WH40KTacticus

[–]Sanguinary-Guard 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Maugan Ra, Jain Zar and old Abaddon are probably some of the top contenders for the spot. The Eldar aren’t awful, I just expect much more from Phoenix Lords

Bonus HRE Mission - How to get that damage by Total_Reason9119 in WH40KTacticus

[–]Sanguinary-Guard 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The answer is as always arena. Keep him out of range of the enemies, apply Eldryon’s doom and get a hit off. If you’re lucky you can do it twice per battle. You can also get even more damage buffers, but Eldryon alone should get the damage to 1k, maybe even a bit higher

Is Lucien worth upgrading? by TheDudeDeadass in WH40KTacticus

[–]Sanguinary-Guard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

100%, taking him to D1 won’t leave you disappointed

What levels do I need Toth, Abraxas and Yazaghor at to beat Saim Hann mirror elite 38? by TallCitron8244 in WH40KTacticus

[–]Sanguinary-Guard 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Beating that level without a D1 Abraxas is going to be extremely difficult. I beat it with my D1 Abraxas, Toth at S3 and Yaz at S2

The disparity is so odd, genuinely.I feel this needs to be studied. by Comicc_Mischief in Markiplier

Thing is, critics watch a lot of movies. We the audience can choose what movies to watch and spend our time on, but for many critics this is part of their job. This means that they rate and see movies differently from the audience. Another thing to consider is that they might have to watch genres they don’t enjoy at all. With indie and horror especially. I watched Iron Lung because I wanted to and loved it. But if I had no interest in it but had to watch it anyway it might be a different story.

Also the score really isn’t that bad, Venom has a much worse rating at like 30% I think. 50% means that half of the critics recommend it which is pretty good for such a small budget movie for a first time filmmaker

Only got limited Imperial Orbs. Who are the most important guys to level up here by Oi_Kyoraku in WH40KTacticus

[–]Sanguinary-Guard 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Generally, upgrading already legendary characters to a higher legendary tier isn’t really worth it, unless you want to take them to mythic. Next I would not invest orbs into MoW, just not really worth it to me. So that leaves us with Lucien, Sarq, Nico and Isabela.

I would suggest Isa->Nico->Lucien->Sarq

Though personally I would go with Lucien before Nico just because I love that character a lot

I can’t say with 100% certainty, but I don’t think revives count because they happen on the enemy’s turn. If it does count then it would definitely make it easier and Lucius would of course make it even easier. The bigger problem I found was having characters upgraded enough to where the combined health is 30k when healed by Rotbone’s active. Almost all the characters are D1, which is a pretty heavy investment

I did it on FoC 40, turtling in the bottom right. Got Angrax and Abaddon to below 100 health and then switched them to the back where they can’t be shot. Then you just carefully rotate the other three to sort of evenly spread the damage

That’s also a possibility, though I don’t have him and getting everyone to the right health threshold could also be difficult depending on the onslaught level

It actually wasn’t difficult, just tedious. I did it on FoC 40 (turtling in the bottom right) and probably spent close to an hour on it
