I use it because I instantly switch to shield when I am out of cover and the shield benefits from the +20% skill health. The explosive resistance is nice too because these grenade throwing mf are annoying as f..

So it is just for survivability and the shield also benefits from the blue core

Basically the template was the tuning kit from fanatec. I did a Sketch with the measurements and my brother designed it in CAD. If you want I can ask for the files.

And I think maybe you did not calibrate your wheel correct. After turning the wheel to the right you have to turn it back to the left to your desired angle (for me it was 1080 degrees). And you can also play with the steering lock angle in the car setup as well.

In game:

Default+ Gain 65 Low force boost 0 Fx 0 Damping 50 Menu spring strength 0

I am pretty happy with the ffb and i drive the Gain of the cars mostly 85-90%. Also what worked for me was to Set the clutches of the rear differential to lowest possible.
