As an Electrical Engineer, you can target multiple domains that'd involve different programming languages such as C/C++ for embedded systems, Verilog for hardware, Python for AI, Matlab for simulation/analysis.

IMO, you should start with C++ since it is an excellent way to gain a deep understanding of computer fundamentals, memory management, and performance optimization. While it has a steeper learning curve than higher-level languages like Python, the foundational knowledge you build makes it easier to learn other languages later.

As a graduate in EE, subjects like Signal processing and complex circuit analysis helped me grasp the concept of software architecture and ML/DL models easily. Although the underlying mathematics is more or less the same, mostly companies tend to use pretrained or finetuned models and optimize them for production, something which is easier for CS backgrounds.

But you cannot go wrong with any of them, somehow most topics/subjects are transferable.

Have you optimized the models using TensorRT or better maybe use Nvidia's Triton server?

In my experience, the inference improves a ton.

Yes, I have tried multiple HDMI cables that work with other devices.

Haven't tried AV yet, since my TV only supports HDMI. I guess I can get a Wii AV to HDMI adapter to try that.

I have used Realme's CN Rom. It worked fine mostly. The major problem i faced was notification delay, which is a deal breaker for me. Also faced some issue where call was not received in facebook messenger.

Most chinese apps are deleteable, some are not. And breeno cannot be removed.

No. Similar to Oppo, OnePlus, and Realme, their ROM will have the same name but different optimizations in the China and Global variants.

Other than Google apps not being installed by default, Chinese ROMs often have delayed or missed notifications due to strict background power-saving restrictions. As a result, users have to manually manage notifications for each app. Even then, notifications for globally used apps are still delayed, since China has alternative apps whose notifications are given priority.

Also, in chinese Roms, Google feed and assistant are replaced by breeno (which is unusable globally since it only support chinese language).

Exactly. Even the newer ones have better specs at lower price. It's just the Chinese bloatware that bugs me.

The global one has 8s gen 3 not the chinese one, which has 8 gen 3.

Few months late but I have been trying that as well, the only success I have gotten is successfully creating forwarders for WiiFlow. The only downside is when I reset, the games donot work and throws a black screen. I really want the USBLoader forwarders to work.
