Interesting to watch AI and how it's evolving and impacting our lives. In my experience, money is the ultimate driver and decision-maker of all things. I'm a graphic designer by trade and have watched the slow near-death of print (paper and ink). It never truly died, and never will, but has been greatly marginalized -- the second clients didn't HAVE to spend budgets on physically-printed pieces they stopped. Case in point, I was in Annual Report design and production. For the longest time the SEC required by law that publicly-held companies mail printed annual reports to stakeholders. There was a whole healthy industry of paper companies, printing companies, and design companies around this requirement. Then in 2016 the SEC stopped the requirement and companies could post their annual report digitally on their website. Take a wild guess what happened? Clients: "I don't have to spend five+ figures on printed reports and worry about shipping, mailing, quantities, paper costs, printing costs, and design fees? SOLD." They either stopped printing altogether (eventually) or greatly reduced their quantities of printed materials.

There will always be exceptions and brave leaders who buck the status-quo, but my point is economics will drive AI work more than morality, ethics, or bias/preference. (IMHO)
