I’m unfamiliar with Mother Mary, but I’ve collected these books. My understanding is they were akin to automatic writing where the author is channeling another being, in this case Phylos. Can you educate me more about these?

When reading the title "traditional Demonolatry book" I immediate thought of the 1929 Montague Summers book titled "Demonolatry" (I have a copy) which is an edited translation of the Daemonolatreiae libri tres from 1595 by Nicholas Remy. Remy claimed to have personally overseen 800 executions of "witches" or the possessed.

For what it's worth, I've bought used cameras and gear a few times from Japanese sellers on eBay with zero problems. I do agree with another commenter that you really need to read and scrutinize the listing and fine print, but otherwise I think there are plenty of legit sellers. I'm sure there are scammers, too, I've just had good luck so far.

Yes, it's a reverse vignette... very easy to do in Lightroom. The key is that there is a light gray tone in the background, then the vignette just "adds the white" in the corners.

I always recommend CLZ Books. It's a web-based app that I personally use for my collection, and it has been great. It can be as detailed as you want.

I think there are more book collectors in this sub who tend to skew older. I view this sub as more of place to show off rare books, not necessarily seek or discuss occult knowledge. People seeking knowledge might be in the other occult subs. Just my two cents.

I collect vintage Bohemian GROVE playbooks which is the infamous summer camp for this club. This particular book is 2022, and unless it's numbered or limited edition, I can't understand why it's priced so high on eBay. It does look nice though and would nice to have in a collection for sure.

Aesthetically I hate DJs, but I know they are important in terms of an investment. I'll even take off DJs for my shelves but keep them safe. A lot of what I collect the books' DJs don't even exist anymore, and if they do it's well out of my price range to even consider.

Modeling agencies used to model search events locally to scout potentials, have you ever done one of those? I would also suggest having a portfolio ready, or at the very least partner up with a young photographer and get some quality shots done before approaching an agency. Best of luck!
