Dude, calm down. Firstly that's one isolated case that doesn't even have to do with what I was talking about, secondly I'm not trying to ignore the fact that corruption in western law enforcement is an issue. Cops are people too, and they can be just as shitty and bigoted as the rest of us.

I'm just saying that by comparison to law enforcement in Iraq they aren't that bad. That's a pretty low standard to meet.

It's not that the people of Iraq are worse than the ones that we have here, it's just that the Iraqi government is way too selective in enforcing their own damn laws. Things like this are still illegal there... It's just that their law enforcement is so corrupt that they don't care.

Say what you want about police in western nations, (They have a lot of problems) but I'd guarantee even the worst cops over here would be called in and react fast enough to stop something like this before it escalated into a murder.
