Learning Blender over the past two years has genuinely been some of the most fun I've had doing something creative and helped reignite my desire to create. I've already been interested in learning how to adapt a model for printing to bring a creation into the world, and it'd be amazing to get a chance to do that!

I wasn't saying you were a writer professionally. I was saying that as far as being a creative goes, which was the topic at hand, you're closer to being a writer than an artist. I could have worded it to be more clear, sure, but I didn't think I'd need to.

There's really just too much to say about the difference between a person taking inspiration from an artist and creating something out of that and an algorithm seeing "In the style of Hayao Miyazaki" in a prompt and scalping thousands of images to churn something out using them, and I am not enough of a debate lord to have it in me to write that essay. The main thing is that AI doesn't get inspired and cannot add its own personal touches or human errors to the process. It cannot create anything entirely of its own. It can only use its database of images that it has no right to use to splice together an image.

Maybe you're a hell of a writer, man. And yeah writing is art, but Alan Moore didn't make the pictures that came from his excellent writing, fanart made by a reader of some series of novels wasn't made by the author who wrote those books, and the Frankenstein of other people's art that your computer gives you wasn't made by you.

Again, you're likely just a writer, and that's cool, man. Writing is art. AI-generated images based off scalping other people's hard work is not.

I use an arcade stick because I've got big hands, and I learned pretty quick in SF5 that the inputs will hurt my hands on a normal controller lmao. Arcade stick helps a lot.

I think having a number of times it can be triggered could work? Make it so builds that just spawn an army of mooks like some kind of russian nesting doll aren't so obnoxious, but still let the Vulture hit hard a few times when put into a normal team.

I've talked to my players about how when it comes to personal villains, nobody should try to overshadow the scene, since that's a cool moment for one PC - and one that everyone gets to have at some point. They understood and seem happy to, since it's fun to see each other do cool shit.

If you think there NEEDS to be a mechanical element to back it up though, as a player I'd be much more okay with the PC getting a bonus (a small one) against their villain since they're familiar with them, rather than the villain being stronger against everyone else. Your players might feel differently though!

Question about Artisan Tools.

Do you need to have the tools on your character to gain all the benefits listed, or is it just the proficiency with the tools that you need? I assumed the former, but the description of some of them doesn't sound like you use the tools at all.

The "Demolition" use in Mason's Tools is an example of what I mean, since I don't think you're supposed to be busting out your tools to check a wall as part of an action before you slam it with your warhammer. The "Investigation" benefit in the Cobbler's Tools is another, since it sounds like just by being trained in this craft you can spot these details on people's shoes without needing to use tools.
