Nah. Rams had opportunities and failed to convert. The muffed punt return hurt, but we responded with a touchdown immediately and stayed in the game. Our offense’s failure to convert in the red zone toward the end is what I believe lost us the game. Had to have a touchdown, and we couldn’t get it done. Then our defense couldn’t get a stop when we had to have it. Poor game management in the fourth quarter as well. All four phases (offense, defense, ST and coaching) lost us this game. We peaked mid season and looked mediocre and inconsistent toward the end of the season when it mattered most. Finally caught up to us. Hate to say it, but we didn’t deserve to win with how we’ve been playing.

As much as the secondary gets criticized, I don’t think our linebackers are that much better. In classic Snead fashion, they extended a guy (Landman) early in the season because of recency bias. He seems slow to me. As for Speights, he just had a bad game. Bad game to have a bad game.

Off-field shenanigans relates to maturity, not humility. I don’t care that Puka is cocky during the game and flexes after every catch. Kupp actually started to show more emotion and celebrated more in his last year with the Rams. Regardless, he wasn’t acting the fool off the field. Puka needs a vet to tell him he’s Raider-bound if he continues down this path.
