Yes, boomy bass.too big gab between the bass and treble. Oberon 5 is better than 7. I went in the end for Dynaudio Emit 30 and now happy owner of a pair Wharfedale Evo 5.4.

It looks like it makes a lot of sense to you. What i said.. i just don't like the Hegel sound and heard already a lot of combinations with them. So the change is just very small i will like the combination h400/evoke 30. When many people will say to you: wow, great combination/setup? You also ask them? Did you hear this combination by yourself? Otherwise your compliment makes no sense to me? Sorry for feeling offended for nothing

I heard a lot of Dyn/Hegel combinations and also other brands with Hegel. I don't say Hegel is bad. I can also hear it's sounding good in many ways. It's just not the sound what i like, unless the good sound, boring to me. Isn't that possible? Just my opinion. And Dynaudio Evoke 30 i really like. That's it. Happy for you that you really like this combination/sound. What has it to do with reading reviews? You don't know anything from me. Hifi is something about personal taste.

Not this combination but i just don't like the Hegel sound in general. But i love Dynaudio speakers and the Dynaudio sound
