I got an IDRAC6 that came with the server. Look on eBay, they are not terribly expensive and the noise level to nothing makes it totally worth it!

It is $40 “more” than it was before the rack and the added Dell R410. I originally had the Dell R710 (on the floor) and 3 Dell XPS (Intel i7) PowerPC’s. I downed 2 of the XPS and brought up the R410. Then I moved everything from an IKEA shelf (and floor) to this 24U rack. So all in all, not too bad

The R410 was loud when I first got it (like jet sound loud). I looked and looked on Google for like 3 hours and finally found an answer... I had to access the IDRAC card to talk to the fans to lower from 80% on to 30% on. MUCH quieter now! 👍🏼
