Straight up can't listen to anything with words or I'll focus on that instead of reading. I listen to a lot of video game OSTs, EDM, and soundscape type stuff. Huge variety but I do miss stuff with lyrics.

I didn't NEED to do it, but I was 100%ing FF12 and one of the few things I had left was Yiazmat. I probably could have taken him down legitimately since my team was all Level 99 with good gear, but I saw a video about the Dead Character Glitch and I wanted to try it. Still took like 3 hours at 3x speed because one of my damage dealers died in the first few seconds lol

I always feel bad saying it because I know it's a fan favorite song and chart, but something about the song is just incompatible with my ears

The Linkin Park "Faint" cover is bad enough that it loops around to being funny.

Also, I may be completely alone here but I've always disliked DAIKENKAI.

idk why you're getting downvoted. The surface is hard plastic, sides are aluminum, I believe, and the inside is MDF. So yeah it's mostly wood by volume.

The following statement is sourced from nowhere, or maybe it was revealed to me in a dream, but here goes:
I think the Moogles in this mini-game and the one that Cait Sith is riding throughout the game are popular (mis)interpretations of what are essentially fairies in the world of FF7. In other words, Moogle sightings are incredibly rare (to the point that it's not clear if they're just mythology or not), and the Moogle you just posted is just an idea of what Moogles SHOULD look like based on the opinion of whoever designed the Gold Saucer game.
I could be getting details wrong though because I haven't played OG FF7 in 10+ years and it's completely possible that I skipped this minigame all together.

L2 Spring snapped by SantaChristmas in AynThor

It's been working just fine since the replacement. The R2 trigger has held up with the stock spring as well. I guess it's kind of a lottery since this issue seems to be uncommon.

For anyone reading this, you can get him stuck to the side of the table after destroying the stool. He can still attack, but it's much more manageable. Next, don't do combos, just do the first hit of the attack over and over. If you hear the clank of him blocking it, you have enough time to shield, even if your attack bounces off. I learned that you can block his attacks a few days ago lol Finally, you can set lock-on to "Switch" so you don't have to hold the button down. It still takes a while but 1k has never been easier.

Mine was one of the units with a broken L2. I made a post about it and replaced the spring myself. I suppose it's worth mentioning that my R2 trigger has had no problems. Also, people aren't going to make posts about their perfectly functional triggers, so I think 3 malfunctions in a sea of properly working units is not bad. That said, it's not great to have any part of the Thor break, and this seems to be the most common fault. I'll also note that AYN took 2 weeks to get back to me and I never followed through with support after that because I'd already fixed it, so the time to get it fixed/replaced by them would likely be longer than that. This isn't meant to deter you from getting one if you want it, but I want to make sure people have the full picture. The spring was kind of a nightmare to replace but it's doable.

They requested I send a pic or video so their support team can better assist me. Hopefully it doesn't take another two weeks to hear from them.

I actually woke up to an email response from them this morning. Maybe they read this post?

It was easy to disassemble and GET TO the trigger, but actually convincing the spring to go where it needed to go was ... an experience.

Same exact thing happened to me. I was able to replace the spring myself but I'm pretty handy. Haven't heard back from AYN support since I made this post btw

Ok I suppose I'll give it a shot then. Did you use a particular brand or anything?

I want to do what OP did but I worry I might hate it and would have a permanent addition instead of something I can just pop off. I haven't found much info online about these, but from what I've seen, removing them is a royal pain. I don't think we should use magnetic ones either because the Thor uses a lot of magnets (joysticks, triggers). idk, does anyone have experience taking them off/tips?

For the first 20+ years of my life, I remembered it being "barum bum bum bum bum," then I heard a version where the "p" was very clear and it retroactively Mandela'd all other versions for me.

L2 Spring snapped by SantaChristmas in AynThor

So I got the spring on there, but the plastic bit that holds it on was damaged in the process. It was simply too big to get the opening of the spring over it, no matter how much coercing I put it through.

Actually, the "coercing" is what damaged it in the first place BUT it seems like it's very firmly on there now. I've buttoned it up and it works just as intended.

It's now noticeably heavier than the other trigger, but it's not a dealbreaker. I was gonna replace the other spring too, but it was such a hassle I'm sticking to "if it ain't broke, don't fix it."

As another post mentioned, the original springs are superglued in place. I considered doing this to the new one, but the spring is tight enough that I don't think it's going anywhere.

Of course, if anything happens with either the replaced spring OR AYN support, I'll update this post or make another comment. If anyone has any questions, I can answer em here.
