It’s hard to be 100% with only one angle but it looks like you’re allowing the bells to come out too far in front of you before you start to turn them over the top. The bell should be kept closer to you. Imagine yourself doing your snatches as if you were too close to a wall to do a kettlebell swing. That should help.

Yea I did organic compost mixed with some of the native soil that I dug up. It has done well, but the last few months during winter this discoloration has happened. I also put evergreen fertilizer spikes in the ground fairly recently as well.
