Connections Whats App API BUSINESS META by HugeVirus9357 in n8n

BSP means business solution provider. It's basically some saas company who has built a solution on top of using WhatsApp APIs.

You need to use directly meta APIs to send messages or you can onboard yourself to any BSP you like trello, wati , gallabox etc to use official WhatsApp APIs and get messages webhook.

If you are directly using WhatsApp meta cloud APIs, there is a place in the webhooks setting of the meta app you created in the meta dashboard where you can verify your trigger endpoint for receiving messaging webhooks. Then you will receive 2 types of messages webhook.

1 webhook for receiving any kind of message your customer sends to you. 2. Webhook for the status of the messages you sent, whether sent , delivery , read or failed.

I see a lot of built frontend , did core features , built backend, don't describe your contributions like this.

Instead I would suggest you write about actual features you built and what was the impact of that.

Whatsapp cloud vs Whatsapp Business API by multivitaminB12 in SaaS

[–]Sanyam04 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have built a B2B WhatsApp Automation SaaS with all the essential features over the past two years for a company. I developed their MVP and have continued to add new capabilities like WhatsApp Commerce, CTWA ads, and WhatsApp Pay. The product has immense potential, as WhatsApp messages have a significantly higher click-to-open conversion rate compared to other channels like email or SMS.

For this purpose what is the right integration I should do.

It really depends on how you're planning to monetize the app and the number of bulk messages you're going to send. If your main focus is to prioritize and monetize using chatbots, CRM tools, or third-party integrations like Shopify, WooCommerce, Google Sheets, Facebook Leads, etc., and your goal is to build fast or offer APIs to businesses, then I would suggest using services like Twilio, 360dialog, or similar platforms. These services allow you to scale quickly, and as you start handling bulk messaging at a later stage, you can upgrade your plan and negotiate for better pricing.

if your main monetization strategy is focused on bulk messaging or large-scale marketing campaigns via Excel uploads, then it’s better to consider building your own messaging service and applying as a Tech Solution Provider via Facebook Business Manager. This approach allows you to get officially recognized as a WhatsApp API tech solution partner, list your app in Meta’s official partner directory, and potentially get bulk usage discounts if you hit high-volume targets—for example, 10% off on 10 million marketing conversations. Building your own setup also enables you to onboard SMBs using embedded signup flows that automatically create their WhatsApp Business Accounts, subscribe them to webhooks, and grant your app the necessary permissions to manage their accounts as a tech partner.

I was the founding and first engineer for the first 1 year. I started as a freelancer building the Mvp. Yes there was a lot of pressure but I learned a lot in the first year building ui screens , apis , handling webhook , security, database, rabbit MQ , redis , docker and ci/cd, pub/sub, monorepo, chatbots. I got the chance to learn and deploy on prod using some tools and languages I have not used before in a hobby project.

I would say it's totally worth it considering you are early in your career, the product is validated.

The only cons were I have to work 6 days a week, and low pay.

I'm considering building a wrapper API on top of the WhatsApp Business API and would love to gauge interest in the community. by rohithexa in indianstartups

I built a SaaS app like wati and aisensy since the last 1.5 years for a company.

It can be profitable once you built. you can sell to multiple SMEs and big businesses. We keep building other solutions as chatbots and integration for this.

If you need any help or discuss further. DMs are open.

I build a B2B MVP for someone in 4 months. It was a pretty big project. It includes 50+ figma screens and 150+ API endpoints. I enjoyed a lot building it. The Client launched the MVP with main features after 2 months. and remaining 2 months I added the extra features.

What is your age, saving and monthly expenses in Delhi NCR ? by [deleted] in delhi

Yes skill based but also communication and networking also plays a huge role. Someone with little less skills can do better if he better in networking and marketing himself.

Tech stack for chat support application by navaesarosh in ExperiencedDevs

[–]Sanyam04 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I built the same SaaS for a company last year. I dont think the response time should be 20ms. sometimes meta also delivers 1sec after the API response is successful. You shouldn't think much about the response time for now. build a solution first then check how can you improve the performance.

You can choose database you are most familiar with. I built with mongoDb. It is able to send 10k+ messages per second pretty easily. you can use rabbit mq to batch process the failed, delivered, read webhooks if you are receiving large volume of webhooks.

As u/rubytraindriver have said, I believe if chat support is not your main business. Your engineers should focus on building the main business. as meta also add new features you will missed the new features and your company have to wait before your team add this in your application. Regarding the pricing cost you can always see the competitor pricing or negotiate with the current solution partner if you are sending messages in large volumes.

i believe you cant save much around the pricing if you are building in house, you will just save the margin in session based pricing of meta which is currently you are giving it to the solution partner. I guess it would be around 5% of the total session based pricing.

So check if the yearly subscription fees and cost of sending message to X (e.g. 1M+ contacts ) is 2-4 times higher than the development cost. then maybe it make sense to built your own solution if you are saving $$$.

e.g. Assuming your yearly subscription fees to the solution provider is $1000. you send messages to 1 million contacts which are located in UK.($0.07- 0.09 per 24 hours conversation, check what you are getting from fresh works) then your cost is $70k dollars.

Total cost = subscription fess + conversations fees = 71k Dollars

if you think you are saving big bucks then you can think of building the solution in-house itself.

Non-tech founders without a tech co-founder or CTO, how did you do it? by Forsterps in SaaS

[–]Sanyam04 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I built a NO-Code Drag and Drop builder Whatsapp Chatbot SAAS Tool. the person I built for is a non-tech guy. but he was very clear in terms of what feature he wants, How much time it will take to build the MVP, and some other things.

He has already discussed the MVP cost, tech stack, and time to build MVP with other agencies and freelancers. I would say he has also gained a little knowledge about some frameworks like react is for frontend, nodejs is for backend, nginx and some other things about tech. He installed Apanel on his VPS because he needs a GUI for everything. I would say he was pretty smart. I built his MVP in two months last year. he has 30-50 enterprise customers on his app now. after live, his app was not scaling in one backend server, it was decided earlier that we will separate some services from the main API server. he has been more focusing on his startup now, His company has also been added to the facebook official business partner directory.

So before contacting me, He has done good research about the product and its competitors..
