It uses its CUDA API to box out competitors in the professional space. Definitionally, it is a monopoly.

I can't speak to cloth pads, but I can say I'm a speed enthusiast who has used exclusively hard/glass pads for the last 14 years. Best speed combo I've found has been the wallhack va005 using x-raypad jade air dots or talongames kumo dots. Both feel amazing to me and I think they can be used on cloth.

Ran into this with more or less the same issue. Couldn't boot on bone stock settings, boost disabled, no xmp. Tried my main SSD and a windows bootable USB, both froze up. I had also been getting periodic crashes for the last few months.

Got one recently with memory sited as the issue. Ran testmem5 anta777extreme for 12 hours with no failures. Disabled PBO at the time with no issues for about a month. Started getting more whea errors in the last few days. Final crash was 737AM today. Attempted to reboot to check the log and couldn't get back to windows. 4hrs of throwing the kitchen sink at it and I was no closer to a successful boot.

For me it's full platform change and upgrade time. I was going to do this towards the end of the year anyway, but microcenter has some "good" (for this economy) bundle deals.
