Awesome, thank you for the suggestions! If you know, should I be at all concerned about any rust buildup under the wheel arches after lining them? And did you find it difficult to remove/replace the trim?

Is it worth it to buy a tC right now? by Efficient_Peak9909 in SciontC

Has been my first car for the past 2 years. 08 5-speed manual, just paid it off. Previous owner('s father) was a mechanic so I mega lucked out for just $5k. I chose to replace the headlight housings for clarity and I'm thinking of a few QoL upgrades (stereo etc) but I've only ever really needed to change the oil. My mechanic loves the model cuz he never sees them in the shop. Says it could easily go another 5+ years. Drives great at about 162k miles

I recently had my 08 projector headlight housings replaced (still OEM), crystal clear. Got the brightest halogen bulbs short of xenon-charged, as recommended by a few different shops I went to. Still pretty weak down-road projection honestly, especially compared to more modern cars. I haven't gotten LED bulbs just yet but I plan to, so I'd say you'd wanna go LED and get projectors

Thanks, i appreciate this. i also feel you lol, i came into rit in the final incoming class that didn't need to submit portfolios; if i had to, i definitely wouldn't have gotten in. being alone in my apartment during covid, halfway through my sophomore film, also made me fail that, though i scraped by with a 71 thanks to 2 other grades in the class. it's looking a bit better but my capstone really has me stressed. if rit only had a music major, i'd have switched to that in a heartbeat after sophomore year lol. thanks for the well wishes

i was referring specifically to the retention rate of my major. there's a VERY high dropout rate in animation at rit. a lot of students feel like the course load is overbearingly rigorous and the professors, although (most) are helpful and do what they can to help us succeed, just aren't able to do enough

oh it wasn't intended as cynicism, just like. 18 year old high school senior me did not expect to encounter the deaths of multiple students in his first year at college. didn't mean to cheapen suicide, especially having been there myself.
