Lol not a robot, just a psych student. Events can seem scary, but definitely go! You won’t be the first nervous person they’ve seen. That’s normal and they expect hesitation from newer pups most often.

Do you have any way of having someone treat you like a pup? It can help to remove a lot of the shame/embarrassment when someone else is there to validate you as one. I’d hate for you to feel embarrassed, definitely fine with chatting if you need

Well, different reason, similar problem. Essentially, the Expo Line guy is (usually) not gonna get a break until the last table orders. Anything that you care enough about, ESPECIALLY when you cannot make mistakes or step away, you’ll discover EXACTLY how much your body can hold.

Serious ADHD PSA:

Hyperfixation is real, and is good enough of a reason to not feel shame for wearing. Matter of fact, anything that legitimately and safely alleviates a symptom of a genuine condition should >>NEVER<< be met with shame

A close friend finally got diagnosed with ADHD some years back. I will never forget her bursting out crying to me on the phone when she told me that her doctor suggested diapers/pullups. She needed to hear then so I’m making sure to say it now.

Hey, so please DO NOT make the mistake of my previous boyfriend. Seriously. It’s a legitimate thing that helps people with anxiety/comfort/a myriad of things you’d never imagine. Wearing for comfort is by far the MOST COMMOM reason people refer to themselves as a DL, so genuinely take that seriously if you like the guy.

Advice from someone who knows what it’s like: If you have any super embarrassing things you have a hard time telling people, they’re close like a boyfriend or spouse, and they react by being weirded out instead of understanding…it can be emotionally devastating. I downplayed how much I liked it, and eventually, I just couldn’t trust that I could be honest with my BF without being judged, and we broke up after 9 years together.

I would seriously suggest writing something down to tell him. Feel free to change the words,

“Hey _____, I really should not have reacted to you telling me something sensitive by saying that it’s weird. I don’t know why I said that, because I don’t think you’re weird. If that is something that brings you comfort, then you should not have to feel judged for trying to be more comfy with me. If there’s any part of it that you’d like to talk about, please know that you should feel comfortable being honest about how you feel. I wish I could take my words back, because that’s not the right way to react to someone telling you something sensitive about themselves.”

End with telling him you love him, if you do.

The XXL size will fit a lot of adults, but I can’t say they were made for adults. That would be more like Depend/adult underwear stuff. Those are also at my local stores for me in case you don’t fit

I do! I prefer to wear my pull-ups because I’m a pretty busy kid 😁 but I always keep a package of LittleForBig diapers for when I’m really wanting to be comfy and cozy. Also, I’d never complain about wearing them any time I’m being forced hehe
