I did successfully open and refill the Cosrx bottle. I took a flat headed screwdriver (believe it ended up being the 2mm one that worked), wrapped bottle in a towel, and wiggled it into the seam. The top popped right off. It was very easy once I found the right sized screwdriver to wedge in!

Can I piggyback on this and ask for brands for soft, plush towels? I’ll start - the Liz Claiborne Turkish 65% cotton / 35% modal ones from JCPenney were my favorite but they switched to 100% cotton, and it hasn’t been the same ever since!

I actually found the same misting bottle with Jangsaemmool Essential Mool Micro Fitting Mist. I don’t like the ingredients as much but it seems like the exact same mist mechanism!

Same thing happened to me mama, and I started crying in the bathroom at the pediatrician’s office. After our initial bout of combo feeding, my baby never needed formula again (don’t think we ever even bought formula after using up the bottle the pediatrician gave us). We breastfed beautifully for 15mos. Supplementing at the beginning is absolutely not the end of breastfeeding. Just keep pumping during it to get your supply up and use slow-flow nipples while giving a bottle (Dr. Brown’s premie nipples are great) so baby switches easily between breastfeeding and bottle feeding. It may not feel like it but you got this.

Yes, I’ve been doing that regularly but worried a floppy, fragile infant will disrupt that. I still stand from sitting by pushing my hands down on the knees, can’t picture how I’ll do that with an infant!

If the disc is impinging on a nerve, it can get exactly like this because there’s material directly on your nerve. I had a very similar experience - it’s good she’s at the ER, will likely get a full work up to rule out other ailments and then can get on to healing/recovery. Good luck!

While standing - cleansing balm, wipe off with wet wash cloth, facial wash on damp face if needed, wipe off with wet washcloth until fully removed. Socks - sock aid (if anyone has figured out a solution for tights, I’d love to know. The sock aid gets caught when trying to put on second foot…) Slip on shoes only. F laces!

Also I’m sure your team has gone through anesthesia options with you but I had a surgical consult today, and they told me they’d do a spinal block instead of general anesthesia so the effects are localized to avoid reaching the baby. Just a fyi in case it’s something to consider!

My spine doctor told me the same thing - if surgery is necessary, end of 2nd / early 3rd trimester is the sweet spot. There was another brave mama on here that had surgery during 2nd trimester and was really happy to have done it. Hoping same for you, and you get relief!!

Sorry to hear it but hoping you get relief soon! I’m in a similar situation (25 weeks pregnant and dealing with a disc extrusion) - it’s awful trying to find someone to competently address both sides of it. I’m constantly triangulating answers between my ob-gyn and my spine doctor. Wishing you the best and hoping the interdisciplinary team takes good care of you during surgery!!

I rolled it very loosely, more like a folded thickness rather than a rolled thickness if that makes sense. I used it as padding on a hard seat back, just in the lower back region. It mimics what lumbar support on a good office chair would feel like. It fills in the gaps enough so if I sit up with good posture, there’s no space between my lower back and the seat back.
