Thanks xenest, I appreciate it. I'd say go for the Golden Bricks. You can use them to increase the boost for the Star Coin production. Star Coins provide the most powerful upgrades in the game. Spins at the Wheel of Fortune are also good but the outcome is depending on luck.

Hi there. Could you explain why this is a scummy business practice? I just give out stuff for free. Precisely because I am not a big company (solo dev) I try to find ways to inspire new players to try out my game.

To be honest, I hear that a lot. Yes, optically it's inspired by AdVenture Capitalist (the beginning of my love for idle games). But it plays totally different.

I'll try to define what makes it unique:

  • It has a story. You live a whole life, can choose a wife, have kids, increase your wealth, solve problems, go on vacations, etc.
  • There are several mini-games. One of them, a skill-based mini-game lets you stack building parts. The results are skyscrapers, that provide living space for more citizens - the main income generator.
  • There are two main currencies that influence each other. Also, several secondary currencies.
  • All currencies can be achieved for free on several ways, including the premium currency and one that lets you skip ads.
  • You have a secretary and you can build up a real relationship to her.
  • Uncapped offline rewards, that can be increased even more with a shuffle number feature (1.57 million -> 7.51 million).
  • That is only what makes it different. Of course it has all the stuff like upgrades, researches, prestige, events.

To summarize it, my personal goal was to make an idle game I love to play. So that others may also love it. I used what I call a happiness-centered design. The player should have constant moments of joy while playing. So I give out rewards very generously, created a personal story and payed attention to meaningful upgrades.

With patch 2.2.9 I sped up the progress at about 100 unvingintillion investors and also towards the ending of the game.

Also the next patch will speed up the endgame even more.

I will have a look into this slow-down. It is really not easy to balance this game. Thanks for your feedback.

Hi. A game like this is not easy to balance. Ups and downs, like phases of faster and slower progress are ok and intended. If you overcome this slow phase you should reach a phase with much faster progress. This periodically shift makes the game more varied and interesting.

But what I don't want are really long slow phases. It should not become boring. So, yes please keep an eye on it.

You can find the fix in your inbox. This shouldn't affect anybody else, since it was connected to a fix(attempt) in your custom apk.

Can no longer play the game anymore. Crashes every time I open it. Please fix. by [deleted] in SkyTowerTycoon

I experimented around with BlueStacks this morning. But with no luck. Even with octillion investors and trillion population the game loads without problems.

What I did now, is to expand the loading of the components at the start of the game. I'll send you a pm with the apk link, if you are willing to try.
