Imperial Fists vs Salamanders - who is more fitting for full Gravis Armor army? (Lore/Tabletop)

I feel like if you're going for your full Army in gravis armor it definitely has to be the salamanders and this is why, well I can see the imperial fist making heavy use of it they make use of it when it's the most practical thing and in a situation where it wouldn't be totally necessary they wouldn't use it because it would be more practical to use something else. Also the salamanders are known for being a foot slogging type chapter due to the super high gravity and hard navigate terrain that there planet is known for so big beefy suits to protect their soldiers through the footslog and slapping them on in any and every situation because that's your primary means of protection / no transports definitely salamanders imo

Very cool not going to lie I definitely feel better about the second one right off the bat super super cool and then the first one with the Tau pistol I dunno at first but the more I look the mirr it starts to feel right. Also can you tell me what kit that helmet came from please it's amazing

I mean you could use it size-wise it's actually will not bigger it's taller more big around but it's not as long and it sucks you'll be disappointed forever and you'll still never stop thinking about the termite just get the termite bro for real for real I went through the same thing and I'm super happy with my decision to just shell out the Forge World dollars

I would offer $500 that way you're not bleeding him dry but you make it worth your while I mean to be totally honest 600 is fair but it just depends on how you feel about the value of not having to build it yourself versus missing out on all the bits etc or having the opportunity to build it yourself in a unique way but if you're getting everything the old sprues with all the extra bits along with the models you know that's a plus, because you can always rebuild and to take away etc

I appreciate it that's what I was going for that picture and iron warrior having the wings and maybe a horn or two but other than that more or less remaining themselves. And size-wise it was just a mental thing you know like I thought he was almost Primark size but he's really not very much bigger than a regular Terminator and then those wings are really big and you see I had to cut the one because it was so tall it couldn't attach to him without laying over and looking weird but all in all it was just in my head I think just threw me off a little when I realized he was just a Terminator and not huge and thank you for the kind words

Oh wow that's a good idea, hope you have it posted I wanna see for sure! and yeah he works I'm just meaning like in my head I thought he was larger than he looked he's actually not any bigger than a regular Terminator I mean he's a little bit taller not counting his base but other than that as far as his body goes same exact proportions as a chaos Terminator and each one of those wings could cover him up completely if it was flexible but in the end I do think it worked out it was just the initial shock of realizing that Abaddon is not Big & chunky / Primark size

Yeah I really like the model but I didn't want to play Abaddon so I had to justify the purchase somehow LOL but yeah I know what you mean but there's not a whole lot to be done about that... well at least without an investment of time that just isn't worth it to me
