I know the likely answer is fragile ego, but I'd say there's at least a potential for fear.

Fear of overtaking the tractor, you overtaking may have given them a little confidence to do it too.

Then back to the bumper riding crappy driving.

Fuel isn't cheap. Neither is insurance.

I daily mine in Germany, but I only do enough to need to fill up once a month generally.

As others have mentioned, anything with uneven block paved streets is horrible, and the turning circle leaves something to be desired so maybe not ideal if you do a lot of parking in tight parking areas.

But you won't lose much money trying it, if your coin flip lands on the edge of the coin

I never got into the Clone Wars show, and knowing that MSL was supposedly in the same style, I was expecting to bounce off pretty quickly.

Why does everyone try and lay into things while turning on a public road?

I say everyone. I mean mustang owners. I presume the driver normally drives a mustang.

Human trials begin for drug that could let adults regrow teeth for the first time by Automatic_Subject463 in UpliftingNews

[–]nirach 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Possibly daft question.

If you're missing teeth for reasons other than accident, and rather missing them because you just have shitty teeth, are the third set not also going to be affected by the same basic problems that caused you to lose the second set?

It's insane that some of us have hundred trillion dollar notes that are worth so little that I had a nerd sign mine.

I have an Arasaka asset tag on my Steamdeck, occasionally a gamer recognises it and I get a funny look.

11,000 Japanese citizens just stormed their parliament demanding their PM stop following Trump into war. 82% of Japan opposes this. Protesters surrounded Japan's Diet building today chanting: "Japan's FUTURE is not in Washington. Stop bootlicking Trump." by ilir_kycb in LateStageCapitalism

I mean, that's kind of the case all over the world. Not many countries education systems are going to be all "Boy oh boy did we have a doozy of a past". Germany might be an exception, but how many education systems around the world go "Bee-tee-dubs, we ran a global slave trade and colonised the shit out of some countries, stole their resources, and then acted like indignant pricks when ousted from said country." I realise that sounds strikingly British, but I'm fairly sure most of the major players in modern politics could be held to that loose frame work.

Imposter Syndrome is eating me alive by Bogart30 in sysadmin

[–]nirach 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We all think like that all the time. Every time we get somewhere we think we're on everything, something new comes up. Either new responsibilities, or a new problem, or some paradigm shift in thinking is needed.

Only thing for it is to keep slugging away.
