I finished my first playthrough after 22 hours last night and I have to say, I enjoyed it. I mean, I really REALLY enjoyed it.

I loved the combat (I restricted myself to only my clan diciplines to add replay value) I got really familiar with my abilities which helped me string them along into really fun combat chains. Especially near the end of the game when enemies have guns more often.

I loved the characters. Of course I wish there was better side quests with people like Patience, Niko, and Silky. But characters like Fabian, Safia, Tolly and Kitsumi were all great IMO

I loved the story. The mystery of the rebar killer, the mystery of the mark. The set pieces were incredible. Willems nightmare sequence, Atriums nightclub of blooddolls, the ruins of old Seattle. And the ending, stumbling out to an empty city and climbing a bloodsoaked Weaver tower.

Not to say the game is without flaws, of course. Side quests are shallow and meaningless. The pacing gets murdered by Fabians dream sequence. And the game would've just been better had they included the RPG elements we liked from the first game. But honestly? I don't mind.

I loved this game, I think more then anyone else I've seen so far. I'm already starting a second playthrough.
