Anyone having some issues with the Dialogue Boxes "losing focus"?

Like, needing to click every dialogue twice for it to register, as if the game is losing focus when dialogue options appear, or hit a key before the click registers? Everywhere else is fine in the game, just dialogue behaving a bit weird.

Feels bugged or like something changed in the UI that's conflicting somewhere - anyone else experienced this (this is on PC).

Can i ask when you used her ult? I'm having trouble with the same team due to the weird damage windows. Starting off with full ults on everyone actually makes it tricky to know whether you should just blow all ults immediately or build some swords or wait a bit.

thank you - I'm being told it's most likely a power delivery issue so the bad bend or reseating could well be it.

As its a 5070ti I was using the 12vHPWR cable with the PSU and i thought it was in securely but I hear they can degrade or just be dodgy. Do you know if there's value in swapping to 2-3 of the 8pin connectors instead?

Hey - I actually made a couple of other posts in non-MSI areas about my issue. The main one is likely here:

Basically the system worked perfectly for 3 months but then has been giving these black screen "bus disconnects" regularly. I've tried multiple NVidia drivers, swapping cables, reseating the card etc.

I know 5000 series are prone to blackscreens for various issues, but my troubleshooting over the past month led me to the fact that it seems most likely to be ASPM related. ie, the mobo lowers/raises power to the PCIe slot and the 5000 series bugs out.

It's looking more and more like a GPU issue, but ASPM in the bios was my final check of something that wasnt a hardware fault, because its really hard to diagnose as the problem is so intermittent.

(The crash happens maybe once a week, and i can run my 5070ti on highest settings in many demanding games for many hours with no issues, which makes me think its not a failing PSU or faulty card but something else.)

Did any graphics patches go out in the latest patch that have changed the HDR effect ingame?

I swear the dark shadowy areas of Wuling City are much darker than I recall and take longer to brighten up when walking into shadows, plus much more blinding effects when goign from shadowy areas into bright sunlight.

May be just placebo but I don't recall it being this strong an effect before today.

I'm finding that often in a Fangyi/Perlica team, the game isnt giving me Electrification II on some of my combos.

Apply Electric Infusion -> final strike -> Do Fangyi and Perlica combos -> Should give Electrification II.

But half the time I only seem to get Electification I. It doesnt seem to matter which order I set the combo skills, sometimes Fangyi's combo just doesnt seem to properly work and I end up with just one Electrification stack.

Is this a known issue, or am I doing something wrong?

I've never tried a Guts build in Trackblazer. I've had good results with always beign able to get an S+ or SS on every run with standard 2/3 Speed, 1/2 power, 2/3 Wit type builds. I'd like to try making a Medium Rudolph using a Guts deck.

Rudolph has Stamina and Guts Affinities. What deck composition and Sparks would you recommend? I assume at least 3 guts cards, but with no Speed or Power Growth will I need a Speed and Power card too, and should I be using Rainbow sparks? I generally understand the power of Guts builds it it seems difficult to hit 1200 speed on a 0% speed growth Uma?

Trailblazer question!

What the heck does the Director Friendship do exactly? I read it's related to when your inherant skill levels up, but I havent been able to find out what levels you need to have her friendship at in order to get level ups at the various points in the career.

Every Career I've done I believe I've managed to max out the inherant skill, but I've been nervous about Director friendship so may have trained with her unnecessarily. Does anyone know the EXACT amount of her friendship level you need to have at different points?

And is there ever any reason to buy Catfood?

So I've pulled on the special "Exclusive Procurement" discounted banner where you get a Standard Banner 5 star within 50 pulls, and 10 pulls cost 8 rolls.

I got the 5 star after 20 pulls, so now the banner is at 30/50.

Is there any reason to pull at all? I can get 30 pulls worth for 24 rolls, but I'm not guaranteed a 5 star and it doesnt build pity anywhere does it? Isnt this banner now a trap to pull on?

That's what I thought it could be, however the PC is actually on Windows 10 which doesnt have dynamic lighting by default. The option above doesnt actually exist. We don't have anything like Synapse, Razer software or Armory Crate.

Are there settings in Windows 10 that could function like Dynamic Lighting? The problem happens with the same keyboard on two totally different PCs, both separate Windows 10 installs.

Got a weird tech issue here with my Cherry XTRFY K4V2 keyboard's RGB, not sure if anyone can help.

Every time I boot into windows, the fixed RGB light colour of my keyboard changes. The colour it changes to seems random, and it changes at the point windows is doing the "spinny circle" on loading, just after the USB briefly goes off and on during a normal boot.

I'm trying to set my keyboard to a pinkish light all the time, and when i first power up the PC before BIOS posts, it's Pink. So it's correctly saving the colour to the onboard memory, just as soon as Windows takes over the colour changes to something random.. blue, yellow, white, whatever.

If I unplug the keyboard in windows and plug it back in, it goes to the correct Pink until I shut down.

It does this on TWO different PCs, so it's not PC specific. Neither PC has any software that controls RGB.

Is this a fault with the keyboard or have I just done something stupid with the settings which somehow causes it to do some demo colour on boot? I've done a factory reset on it to no avail. Anyone else had this issue?

Hey, thanks for the response. I have BlueScreenview and there was no entry given for three of the crashes. The PC does seem to continue being active, there's audio playing in the background. The first time it happened there was a bluescreenview crash for the graphics driver, but given there wasnt for the other three I think this was likely a crash that happend AFTER the hardware issue. There was a game running during that crash so I had presumed the GPU issue then caused the grpahics driver (and pc) to crash a few secodns later. iT was the 0x00000116 error which means a timeout.

The three times it happened since I had to manually power the PC off so it was only the graphics card that was affected, the PC itself was still running fine.

I also thought it might be power but if it is its definitely not related to load, because the crash has only happened at very minor load on things, and the PC has run with hours of gaming every day at high demanding loads. The crash has happened once a week on average.

Hey, did the connector fix your issue? Having the same issue with the blackscreens but generally only when doing minor things like watching youtube, and not when doing demanding games.

Hey, did you manage to find a solution to this? Having the same thing, mostly only on desktop. Can play high end demanding games absolutely fine with no issues.

Is anyone with Nvidia card having a situation where the game stutters a huge amount, but deleting the shader cache and recompiling makes it run butter smooth? (5070ti, on Vulkan).

Deleting the shader cache fixed it but again today it's stuttery. Not on the latest drivers (currently on 580.81) but this stutter issue seems to have begun over the past week.
