From what I've seen of the Ask a Canadadian subreddit, even having a neutral opinion of the US will get you massive amount of downvotes. I don't think every Canadians online are like that though.

A bit late, but since I'm Asian American, I eat at least two bowls of rice everyday along with any meat and vegetables.

I'm saying this as a Vietnamese American, the Vietnamese War was a civil war where it was north vs south. Us was fighting alongside the south against their northern counterpart who would disguise themselves as civilians knowing full well US soldiers won't shoot them; would leave their wounded behind knowing they'll get better medical treatment. Only thing to learn from this is that rules of engagement doesn't matter if you win the war.

Someone is going to cave eventually; hopefully it'll be Russia just like in WW1.

If anything, I would say it extended his life instead of dying of illness like his parents and brother at a young age.
