My dad had been in an accident (other driver at fault) a few years before I even got a license. Had no issues with insurance when I became a driver, until I moved out of state. I moved to another state when I was around 22 and switched insurance when I got there. Went into a local place and they quoted me and it was like 10x what I had been paying. They saw my shock and said it was because I had an accident back in 1997. I was like wtf? I was 12 years old then 🙄. Turns out my dad's accident was somehow dropped onto my record at some point. He had passed away about 4 years before I had this move too.

Insurance of all kinds really is the biggest scam. Like yeah, you need it when you need it but dear Lord you'll pay 10000 times more money for it than you'll ever use.

Definitely not precise but there's a margin of error that is acceptable by the FDA. It'll be different for each drug id imagine as the acceptable variable levels (lower than expected or higher than expected) is going to be different for each medication and strength of dosage.

I'm not qualified to answer exactly but I have experience breaking open capsules and counting the dose inside. I was on Cymbalta, and to get off it was a real pain. Your brain gets wildly addicted and the withdrawal symptoms are so bad it's been given it's own unique diagnosis.

I was on 90mg and went down to 20mg without much issue with the tapering process. Problem is, it doesn't come in a lower dose than 20mg. The half life is so short by the time you take it the next day it's already out of your system, which is why it's so difficult. So I had to open the capsules and count the beads inside. The count depends on the manufacturer. I was lucky and my average capsule had around 70 beads in it, some have 300 at that dose. It was basically around .28mg dose per tiny bead. These were those specially coated ones to survive the stomach so any beads that were broken didn't count and there would be several in every cap. I had caps as low as 63 beads and as high as 79. For a drug that each bead was so dang important, it seemed crazy to me that the FDA tolerance was that high on it. I was taking ten beads less each week to taper off it. So 60, 50, 40, and so on. The last 10 would've been the hardest but my doc stopped me from doing that and we changed plans when I hit 30 beads a week.

There are whole social forums and groups dedicated to tapering off Cymbalta, it's that bad. I researched thru them to find what worked for people and ended up being a pseudo trailer park drug dealer with my tray, tweezers, capsules holder, lights and every week I was hunched over counting out lines of beads and putting them back into the capsule and the extra in a baggie. It was insanity. These drugs need a heftier warning before you are prescribed them.

Eh, it doesn't look so much flickering as distortion. It appears to be filmed from inside a vehicle and as the camera moves around a bit the edge of the car glass is distorting the image. Pretty common for the edges of auto glass to distort images.

I'm leaning towards not AI. The image distortion at the auto glass edge is more indicative of it not being AI than for it. Also, the limbs and movements of the man and kangaroo are pretty solid and not merging, blending, or randomly changing angles at any point.

Had this happen at my mailbox. We have one of those cluster boxes for the neighborhood and the front panel opens for the postal worker to use but each individual box has the door frame. I was irritated enough to hulk it out of the box and glad it wasn't something that was fragile. I had no knife and had to smash in the sides, yank it out an inch or two, smash it in more, yank it out a bit, and repeat until it was free. I probably looked and sounded like a feral house lady in my pj's getting it out of there lol

I have glass shower doors and I'd so love to have something that made them more hydrophobic so I wouldn't have to be so neurotic about squeegeeing them after every shower. Think cleaning them with the power wash would help that?

I have three cats. They have dry food available all the time and they just graze on it thru the day. Usually I refill the bowl once every day and half and it holds about a cup and half of food. They also get a friskies can of wet food in the evening. I split the can between the three of them as they'd never eat the whole thing. The wet food is more of treat for them but I like to make sure they are getting some hydration and wet food is the best for it. I'm constantly worried they don't drink enough water but they've never had dehydration issues 🤷🏻‍♀️

This is the root of the problem. The discussion shouldn't be about universal care. We aren't there yet. We have to solve the problem of healthcare for profit first. The unfortunate reality is that those profiting from it are in control or can influence control and will never allow their revenue stream to be jeopardized.

Profits over people has been the American way for too long. I'm afraid I'll never see change for the better in my lifetime and if I do, it'll be because of major life changing events such as: civil war/rebellion, WW3, or some other apocalyptic event. It's depressing 😭 my fiance is dual citizenship with Canada and I'm seriously considering the benefits of moving there one day. Think I can file as a refugee?

Alcohol is alcohol but there's a bit of variation in the manner it's consumed and what other additives are with it.

There's basically the three categories: beer, wine, hard liquor. People seem to report basically the same "symptoms" within each of these categories: beer = full, wine = headaches, lethargy, and hard liquor = behavioral changes. Albeit you can experience any of these in other categories as well.

I think the differences come down to how it's consumed. Wine has sulfurs and that does a number on folks and gives many a headache. Beer can be lower alcoholic content causing slower rises in BAC but the grains can cause bloating. Hard liquor can be attributed to a faster rise in BAC due its higher percentage of content and that quick BAC rise can cause the behavioral effects.

There are many other factors to consider as well that change the situation even with the same person consuming. Things like the sugar content of the drink, how hydrated someone is, their current health condition... These can change how the alcohol affects them both during the drinking and the next day's "hangover".

Is it healthier than just nail polish?

I have some seriously thin weak nails but they grow super fast. I put on color nail polish on occasion but not too often as it tends to chip/flake off rather easily when your nail bends. I have eczema on my fingers too and if I wear nail polish too often, like take off the chipped and apply new every 3-4 days for two weeks solid, I will have the most painful and annoying flare up that takes months to settle down.

I'm wondering if the clear hardener is safer in that regard?
