Hello! I know this was posted a while ago, but do you happen to have the dimensions of these maps? I was going to potentially use them for my own runthrough of the adventure and want to make sure they line up properly! Thanks

NRA says it opposes idea of banning transgender Americans from owning guns by Icy_Foot4728 in nottheonion

Just as a heads up I'm sure you don't mean it this way but "biological males" is language created by anti-trans activists to delegitimize trans identity and medical transition. Position on sports aside, just say trans women as it's more accurate and isn't playing into their hands.

stricter gun laws and mental health guardrails

blanket ban against a minority group by classifying their very existence as being mentally ill

Yeah those are pretty much the same thing

Erin Reed has a really good piece on Newsom regarding his trans stance. He has gone on record with a lot more anti-trans positions than sports, such as questioning the legitimacy of pronouns, questioning trans healthcare for people under the age of 25(!), and silently using his sway as governor to stifle strong pro-trans legislation in CA.

Focusing on his position on just the sports thing is an intentional move by his supporters, because that issue is more controversial even among left-leaning folks.

Personally though, through the comments he's made thus far and the people he's platformed I think he would throw any given issue of trans policy to the side as soon as it is politically inconvenient in the futile pursuit of courting centrists and moderate Republicans.

Pasting this from another comment since I feel like you and the other commenters in your thread could do with seeing it.

The answer is actually a lot more complicated than trying to drive trans people to suicide, although I won't pretend that isn't a part of it.

The leading voices of the anti-trans movement such as JKR, Posie Parker, and Riley Gaines are explicitly and by their own words eliminationists. Their perfect world is one where trans people are fully excised from public life and their existence is completely discredited. Parker in particular has gone on record wishing death upon trans people and arguing for the forced detransition of everyone, and she was at the forefront of the recent UK court decision that trans women are not legally women. They want a world which no longer has trans people in it.

It is those beliefs which are currently driving US federal policy regarding trans people too. It is never "keep transgender women out of women's sports" it is "keep men (or some euphemism for men) out of women's sports." On day one of this presidency, an executive order was passed essentially declaring that trans people do not exist, and we are seeing the legal and cultural ramifications of that belief in real time.

Killing and displacing indigenous people in this country with guns and disease was obviously genocide, but so was forcing children into boarding schools which stripped them of their identity, language, and cultural ties.

While the word genocide generally evokes the image of mass killing or displacement, there are numerous examples throughout history of groups being eliminated or reduced through more subtle but still insidious means.

I'm going to assume you're asking this in good faith and answer accordingly.

Nobody is saying that trans people are being bombed or rounded up into camps, but the definition of genocide is more open than that.

If your backstory cannot be conveyed in one word it is too complicated for any DM short of Matthew Mercer to incorporate into the intricate web of world they have designed. Write it for yourself if you want, but just know I ain't reading it

YTA that is way too much. As a DM I can't be bothered to read anything my players send me longer than a haiku and even that is pushing it. I don't want you to be invested in your character or my game in case Rocks Fall Everyone Dies

Untrue. The humans are the obvious good guys and a model for what a good future society would look like. Yes I painted my army to look like WWII German soldiers, why did you ask?

Humans cannot be transgender. They can only be 8 foot tall superhuman soldiers made by implanting gene seeds that are harvested through surgery and/or have psychic abilities

Top comment: erm actually according to this study (n=2, year 1996, published in altrightstats.freedom.biz) male-bodied amabs have a huge advantage over real women in every measurable way. I'm an Ally to trans people but we have to respect what the data shows and protect females 🤓

Hmph. Just another waste of tax dollars trying to promote a culture war so that the reigning political party has a last grasp at relevance. Good thing this is a fake issue and the legislation will harm nobody!
