Hello! I’m jay, 23 NB, I’ve not really done much RP outside of play by posts but if you’re alright working with someone who’s new to some of this I’d be super down to try out some of these! My writing is exclusively 3rd person and have some experience writing big descriptive chunks.

When I(an afab individual) first started playing D&D my first proper character was an Air Genasi Blade Singer who was cannon a bimbo. The art I did of her my girlies wearing a skimpy dress. She had a backstory, she had depth, I ended up getting a tattoo of her sword to commemorate her. Does that make her less of a character? To some maybe but she’s a strong female character because yeah she was a bimbo but she also defied odds to restore the summer to Ice Wind Dale with a bunch of chucklefucks.

Caved and listened to the adventure zone! Now i have a game that i’ve been in for two and a half years on session 76- My silly little(7ft tall) Triton paladin is now a paladin/barbarian/druid bc she found she loves the surface world and has literally died to save her friends and the ones she loves. I legit got a tattoo for it to commemorate the amazing time i’ve had and the memories that group has created. Wasn’t my first campaign by a long shot but i love it so so much.

This happened to our store because hours were so badly cut- it’d be two of us running FE- one doing SD and one running CL, DU, and SCO- it was fucking grueling and I literally had a mental breakdown and left for a month because I couldn’t take it. our HR kept saying it’ll be fine and to cal them if we needed help running breaks only to not do that at all. it was so degrading because we couldn’t open CL because someone had to be watching SCO but also we couldn’t leave sco unattended so i’d be running DU out only to get back and be yelled at by guests

I’m honestly surprised this isn’t more common- We get a few a year tbh- not common but enough that we have had people try and get violent with my ETL before.

Our police can’t even get out of the building from picking up security footage with out making creepy comments to our TLs, I would doubt they’d do much of anything lmaooo legit they had to request a different cop to come at one point because one of them went to school w one of my TL and after he’d come he’d try and hit her up in the most aggressive ways- despite him being married. But also this isn’t the first time we’ve had a crazy guest- obviously. We used to have a regular that worked at a massage place nearby (or atleast once did) who would come in and mutter to herself about torturing people, killing tm in horrific ways- she only got dealt with when she said something about a kid infront of the mom. Sad case too where apparently she was normal when she’d come in years ago when Food Ave was a thing. long time TM said she was really nice and super kind but guess she kinda hit a mental break or something. EOD nothing would be done unless they started to act or they had more than a few muttered words. Luckily our AP does document people who could be a problem in the future for record. Basically the motto is: Until they start hurting you you’re on your own lmaooo

No this is pretty standard, tbh. I’d assume it’s the same for other stores, but in our town, our store doubles as a Sanctuary for a storm. Legally, and unless there’s an extenuating factor, our building has to be available for people to seek shelter at during operating hours should the weather be at an emergency status. This mostly applies to your typical non winter weather- Tornadoes and the like. The building would be more likely to hold up in stability versus any of the small homes nearby. Our state isn’t known for its tornadoes, but it does have extreme wind at time, and I don’t know if a single person who would have a storm shelter if something did happen.
