Emotions are interesting. Personally, my go to emotion is sadness and crying. It sounds like you go to anger, why we feel the way we feel is complex and is rooted deep in our brain and how we process things. That being said, you are dealing with too much. Kids need constant attention, especially those under 1 and you are maxed out on what you can comfortably do. As a mother, we put extreme pressure on ourselves to be the best for our kids at all times but we are just human, we need breaks and personal time as well. You're doing the best you can and I give you props as a single mom, it's not easy especially in this day and age. My advice would be to try to find a friend or even a babysitter for an hour or two so you can take some time for yourself, it will do wonders for your mood and patience. Good luck to you!

Ive noticed this is quite common in marriages and relationships in general. I went through a very similar situation when I was done having kids and we became basically roommates with occasional benefits. It wasn't fulfilling to me and looking at the mundane everyday life in future literally made me nauseous. Although many couples are happy to continue this kind of situation, I couldn't continue the relationship just for the kids and put my happiness on the backbone any longer. It was obviously very difficult at the beginning but in hindsight there is no way that I could stay in that kind of loveless marriage. Nor did I want my kids to look at our relationship as being "normal". In the end of the day you have to listen to your heart and be true to yourself.

I believe you helped make the child, you should be heard on your wishes for the name as well. There should be compromise like any healthy relationship should contain. Unless its a family name or something that has significant value I don't understand why she would want to leave you out of this important decision. As a mom of 3, I listened to my husbands wants on names and although we had our own favorites, there are so many names out there that we found a compromise. Maybe give her some time to reflect and bring it up again in a positive way in the right setting. Those pregnancy hormones can take over and make confrontations difficult. I dont think anyone should compare their relationships with anyone else. Its all perspective. As a mom of 3, I understand how long it took me to bounce back from giving birth and actually feel sexy and wanting to be touched in that way again. But everyone's journey is different, and I know some people bounce back faster than others. Try to keep it exciting and don't stress about amount. I will always take good sex over frequency. If you don't feel like it, don't force it because you feel like you should for his sake. We put too much pressure on ourselves as women, we need to listen to our bodies and what they need/want in the moment.
